Advanced age and declining mental acumen have not prevented, or even slowed down, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-California) from growing her reputation as America’s queen of moon bat idiocy and foremost advocate of nanny-state Marxism.
In her latest tirade against responsible governance, the addled lady bemoaned the fact that the much- ballyhooed budget “deal” does not make unemployment benefits a lifetime entitlement.
Said she as reported:
(CNSNews.com) - House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) says the Republican refusal to include unemployment benefits in the Ryan-Murray budget deal is immoral.
"It's interesting to note that they rejected unemployment insurance -- this is so unconscionable, it's practically at the level of immoral to do. The people who work hard, play by the rules, lose their job through no fault of their own, are not able to get -- continue to get an unemployment insurance check."
Again, as I say, not only is it a bad idea from a humanity standpoint, but from an economic standpoint. For every dollar spent on unemployment benefits, it grows the economy by $1.52, a dollar and a half."
Only a demented leftist, unfortunate enough to be cursed with Pelosi’s intellectual limitations, would see unemployment funding as a practical solution to sluggish economic growth and stalled prosperity!
Why not cut taxes, trim down anti-growth government regulations, and let free enterprise work, as it was intended to, Madam Pelosi?
Even more distressing than the Pelosi take on economic matters is her warped notion of morality.
Lest we forget, Nancy Pelosi sees abortion rights as “sacred” to the cause of liberated women; this despite the teachings of the Catholic Church of which Pelosi claims to be a devout member!
Thus, according to Pelosi, willfully killing a human life may be acceptable, even ‘sacred’, whereas limiting unemployment payments in a responsible fashion is somehow ‘immoral’?
Nancy Pelosi needs to retire from political life and join a circus where her fractured thinking and clown-like demeanor would be fully appreciated!
