MSNBC: Hillary supports the fight for $15 minimum wage - just not the wage itselfIf you've been paying attention to the demands of the guy who hands you your fries at the drive-through, you know that he'd like to make more money. No, he doesn't have any discernable skills, but that's not the point. Some people make more than he does, and that's unfair. He is demanding fifteen dollars an hour.

Never mind that, if we raise the minimum wage to $15, jobs will be lost, businesses will close, and the cost of living will jump accordingly. More is better. Context is irrelevant, because that higher number is all that matters. So, you might be wondering: Does the troubling-yet-presumptive Democrat nominee support the $15 minimum wage? Fortunately, MSNBC has an answer to this question. In fact, it has two. She does! ....and she doesn't. So, here are the hard facts about Hillary's minimum wage stance: "Mark Halperin tells me Hillary Clinton did not say she specifically supports $15 an hour minimum wage. She supports those workers' fight to get fifteen dollars." Huh? Obviously, she doesn't want to upset her hardcore left-wing base, but she knows a $15 minimum wage is a losing issue. So, she's trying to have it both ways. The problem is that this is the weakest of weak half-measures. It's like saying "I support Kennedy's plan to go to the moon, I'm just not ready to support landing there". ...Or, "Hey I support the allies' efforts, but I don't know if we really need to get rid of this Hitler guy." Seriously, Mrs. Clinton, pick a side. If people disagree with it, at least you'll get to live the rest of your life knowing that you possessed enough honor and dignity to state your opinion. This? This is just sad.
