MSNBC: Open U.S. borders to decrease Islamic terrorism

When you have a one word name, like 'Cher' or 'Roseanne,' there's good chance you're already operating with somewhat less than all your marbles. However, most of those people aren't given a prominent spot on an allegedly major news network. Touré is an exception to the rule.

On the political spectrum, Touré lands somewhere just to the left of Karl Marx and he's made a name for himself through a series of high-profile MSNBC editorials which embrace all manner of progressive craziness. Today, it was open borders. He's latched on to the open borders movement for a host of easily-debunked reasons, but the best one is 'because it will help stop Islamic radicalization.' "Open borders attacks the root cause of Muslim extremism," Touré says."Young, impoverished men in Muslim countries - men with no future - are more easily radicalized. It's Muslim poverty that threatens our security, not our immigration system." In other words, if we'd just let them all come to the U.S., they'd be better off financially, and they wouldn't want to blow us up. Keeping them out is making them poor, and that makes it easy for people to convince them that Americans should be killed. Get it? In history's most circular bit of logic -ever - Touré points out that the Boston Bombers came to the country legally, so the current immigration system isn't working anyway. Yep. You read that right. He's arguing that allowing the Tsarnaev brothers into the country, giving them complete access to our financial system, and even funding their activities through the generosity of our welfare didn't stop them from becoming radicalized. ...so we should open our borders and do the same thing for everyone. Brilliant. Here'sTouré:
