Charges have been laid following a home invasion shooting and kidnapping investigation in the City of Markham.
On Monday, September 1, 2025, shortly before 9 a.m., officers attended the area of McCowan Road and 14th Avenue for reports of multiple suspects breaking into a residence. Once inside, the suspects indicated to the family that another one of their family members had been kidnapped by other suspects. During the incident, a 54-year-old male was shot. ---More...
