Muslim Murderer Released In A Bizarre Case Flees Justice.

Every state has a motto. Virginia, for many years, literally made one up: “Virginia is for lovers.”

That motto came out in 1969, and it literally had nothing to do with the state. Virginia was no more “For Lovers” than any of the other 49 states, but thanks to a clever advertising agency, Martin & Woltz, Inc., they rebranded the state (as best as they could) to try and make it distinguishable from states like West Virginia, which they had no desire to be related to.

Copywriter Robin McLaughlin originally conceived lines like "Virginia is for history lovers" or "Virginia is for beach lovers," but the team shortened it to a bold, all-encompassing phrase. Not because it actually meant something, but only because it sounded better.

What’s incredibly sad is that Virginia still uses the same slogan as its official tourism and travel motto. That means for the last 57 years, Virginia has tried to convince America it’s something special, based on a fictional, made-up slogan.

I’m not saying Virginia isn't a beautiful state with many physical attributes, but continuing to use a slogan/motto based on nothing besides the fact that it sounds good is preposterous.

Unfortunately, telling the truth about Virginia right now, at least politically, would be a disaster. The state is in the grips of radical communist liberals who despise Western Culture and demonstrate that hatred at every level

Two major blind spots within the Democratic Party are their beliefs that communism will satisfy their need and greed for power and that befriending the Muslim invasion will ultimately do the same.

Of course, they’re wrong on both counts. Communism has been proven to be nothing more than a house of cards that is doomed to fail. Its major weakness is basic human nature, so whenever it is instituted, the clock starts ticking toward its end.

Islam is not compatible with Western Culture or the American way of life in any way, shape, or form. Say what you want, but I firmly believe that Islam is an abusive, intolerant political movement that uses the word “religion” as a mask to hide what it really is.

The fact that Democrats are already embracing Communism and allowing Islam to creep into American society will result in one of two outcomes. Either it will result in the death of this nation as we know it, or it will prove to be the Achilles' heel for a Democratic Party that is unrecognizable at this time.

Unfortunately, even when the Democrats' affinity for the unsavory is finally subdued- and it will end at some point- they will still have caused horrific damage to the psyche and values of our great nation. That is why the election of any Democrat, “DCA,” or Muslim to public office is nothing more than another step toward oblivion.

Virginia, with its election of the stomach-turning Abigail Spanberger as its governor and their election of other incompetent liberals at every level, including a wide range of public officials within the judicial system and school boards, has distinguished itself, like other blue states, as a poster child of hypocrisy, delusion, and incompetence.

Sadly, these traits of hypocrisy, delusion, and incompetence are exposed far too often in different ways, and always to the detriment of hard-working Americans.

In an outrageous miscarriage of justice, Virginia officials failed to secure a guilty verdict against an Islamist illegal alien murderer, who was allowed to escape back to his home country even after he admitted his guilt. They even helped him obtain a foreign passport and allowed him to leave the mental hospital for unsupervised visits.

In 2019, Abdulloi Toshpulodzoda stabbed his roommate, Mohammed Hemmatian, to death in their home in Vienna, Virginia. When police arrived, Toshpulodzoda was found "covered in blood from head to toe" and confessed, saying, "I am guilty," according to court records. Now, thanks to the raw stupidity of a liberal judge and the mindless actions of other county officials, this murdering illegal has avoided punishment and is back in his native Tajikistan.

Court records show that Fairfax County, widely known for its malfeasance in its public schools and judicial system, even paid for an apartment for Toshpulodzoda to live in while on leave from his mental health facility. That’s right, this murderer was actually given an unsupervised 48-hour pass during which he bought a one-way ticket and fled to his country, which borders Afghanistan in Central Asia.

Court documents obtained by the Daily Wire reveal that:

“On July 6, 2026, the acquitted was permitted to leave (the Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute) on an approved forty-eight-hour pass to an apartment made available through the Fairfax Permanent Supportive Housing Program. He boarded an international flight at Washington Dulles International Airport and traveled to Istanbul, Turkey. He thereafter traveled to Dushanbe, Tajikistan.”

Although Toshpulodzoda admitted guilt for the murder, he was found not guilty by reason of insanity after his attorney stated that he was “fixated on religious topics and exhibited illogical and nonsensical behavior.”

“His brother would take him to a mosque for spiritual cleansing; unfortunately, his family did not assist Mr. Toshpulodzoda with mental health treatment.”

A psychologist named Sahair Monfared was assigned to evaluate the man, noting the connection between Islam and Mr. Toshpulodzoda’s delusions. Monfared recommended that he be found not guilty. An additional independent psychologist hired by the prosecutor’s office concurred with this assessment.

In October 2022, the court entered a not guilty by reason of insanity judgment “with the concurrence” of the county prosecutor, Democrat Steve Descano, who won office with financial backing from George Soros.

As if all of this wasn’t disturbing enough to this point, things get more unbelievable. In May 2024, Descano teamed up with the murderer’s lawyer to ask the judge to give him “permission for an escorted visit… to the Tajikistan Embassy in Washington, D.C. to obtain a passport.”

If you're muttering WTF at this point, get in line. This is atrocious irresponsibility, and taxpayers are paying for it all.

In 2025, the Fairfax County Community Services Board and the Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute recognized that Toshpulodzoda was an illegal immigrant and a murderer. However, they stated:

“The Forensic Review Panel believes that Mr. Toshpulodzoda is a suitable candidate for conditional release,” which means he could be allowed to leave confinement permanently. The “conditional release plan” was signed by Azure Baron, the chair of the panel, along with six other officials.

HUH?

On June 11, 2026, Judge Stephen Shannon denied the permanent release of the Acquittee, stating that:

"The Acquittee remains mentally ill and requires inpatient hospitalization." The judge ordered that "the Acquittee shall not be released from custody or inpatient hospitalization without a further order from this Court."

The judge blocked the release in part to prevent the murderer from facing deportation. Court records note that the “Acquittee will not receive treatment if deported.” Descano also opposed the release.

IMHO, Descano said the right thing for the wrong reasons. He didn’t care that a murderer who was in the country illegally was being released into the general public. He only verbally agreed with the judge because he wanted to feign concern about the murderer not receiving treatment. Even with that comment, there was no sincerity. If he really wanted him to stay confined and to remain in this country, why did he team up with this scum’s lawyer to get him a passport? You don’t need a passport if you're confined in an institution.

Days later, on June 25, the mental hospital operated by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services authorized him for one of his “unaccompanied community visits not exceeding forty-eight hours.” This type of visit has been permitted since 2024, and prosecutors said it did not conflict with the ruling.

Prosecutors said it didn’t conflict with the ruling. What do you mean it didn’t conflict with the ruling? An unaccompanied release definitely conflicts with the damn ruling!

Descano’s chief of staff, Laura Birnbaum, tried to cover up his liberal gaff by telling The Daily Wire that the prosecutor’s office helped him get a passport “for documentary purposes,” and that the not-guilty ruling “is made by a judge after reviews from multiple independent clinicians.”

“We have opposed his release specifically because of community concerns,” she said. Asked if Descano believed he should be deported. Our goal is to make sure people are not harmed wherever he ends up.”

In typical Democrat fashion, Descano’s office kept trying to pass responsibility. Birnbaum wouldn’t say whether Descano opposes mental hospitals allowing murderers 48-hour passes that cause them to live in the Virginia community. Instead, she said the mental health department makes those decisions.

Weighing this case against a similar one in neighboring Loudoun County contradicts that. When the mental hospital proposed granting Melvin Wasike, who had previously stabbed someone to death, 16-hour unsupervised visits, Republican prosecutor Bob Anderson publicly objected and contacted the hospital, which then reversed its decision.

In another attempt to feign concern, Descano has asked the judge to issue a "judicial capias," so Toshpulodzoda can be apprehended and detained if he presents himself at any United States port of entry or is found within the United States. As usual with liberals, it was too little, too late. The filing does not mention any efforts to locate him outside the country.

Since 2021, there have been 15 murder cases in Fairfax County where the defendants were ruled not guilty by reason of insanity or found not competent to stand trial.

Among these defendants, nine have foreign-sounding names, according to data compiled by Virginians for Safe Communities.

Additionally, Descano is currently under federal investigation following statements in his campaign platform suggesting he would assist illegal immigrants in avoiding immigration penalties.

The federal government and Republicans in Congress claimed this was discrimination. Descano denied fulfilling his campaign promise, but a long list of cases shows him repeatedly declining or dropping serious charges against illegal immigrants.

A significant percentage of the murders in Fairfax have been committed by illegal immigrants. One notable case is Abdul Jalloh, a 32-year-old from Sierra Leone with 30 prior arrests, almost all of which prosecutor Steve Descano dropped. Jalloh murdered Stephanie Minter at a bus stop in Fairfax County.

Another example is Marvin Morales-Ortez, a 23-year-old from El Salvador, who fatally shot a man just one day after being released from jail; in that case, authorities ignored a federal immigration detainer because the despicable Governor, Abigail Spanberger, has refused to hand illegal immigrant murderers over to federal immigration authorities.

This entire case, like so many others, is a disaster because Descano is obviously on a mission to fulfill his campaign promise. A promise based on a sick delusion that he and far too many Democrats view as equity.

His release of so many criminals isn’t justice; it’s blind, sickly-motivated incompetence. He needs to be removed from his position immediately and prosecuted for endangering the lives of Virginia’s citizens.

Oh, and his passport needs to be confiscated.
