This is the type of situation that should never occur. Kayla Aliese Carter was hired to be a “Racial Equity Officer” to eliminate systemic racism that doesn’t exist. As though trying to eliminate a figment of some people’s imagination isn’t bad enough, They hired a racist to do it.
Carter was hired by disgraced Mayor Patrick L. Wojahn, who resigned from office after being arrested for child pornography. The reason for her hiring is very questionable based on discriminatory posts she has made on social media in the past.
In a report by Fox News, Carter’s ideas and agendas have been documented as well as some of her damning posts on social media.
Since being hired, her plan of action has centered on “black liberation” which she intends to achieve through “revolutionary” means. She has hired other activists to help her plan “how we will eat and live and grow after we burn it all down.”
Carter, who earns $75,000 per year, was hired after College Park, Maryland, adopted an agenda in the wake of the death of George Floyd in 2020 that condemns "systemic racism" and supports "black lives."
Carter now works under Mayor Fazlul Kabir. She supervises a team pushing for "racial equity" in city departments, policies, practices, programs, and budgets. However, her social media posts indicate a distinct bias towards the support of blacks in all cases and the denigration of whites without fail.
In 2020 she posted:

Since her hiring, she routinely refers to white people as yT’s. In a recent post, she said:

Fox documented that Carter has stated that police are "White supremacists," and that she would rather not be working at her $75,600 per year job, instead, she would rather be a "collage artist," or "lady of leisure."
In January, she posted:
The fact that someone with this openly aggressive, racist, and hateful attitude is working for an American city is disturbing, to say the least. The only thing that Carter will accomplish with her current attitude and agenda is further division. She has openly stated that she doesn’t want her job, so I think city officials should oblige her and eliminate the position altogether.
