UN's mandate for NATO in Libya

NATO’s private purpose achieved, so now leave

The UN mandate was for NATO to provide humanitarian aid, not kill Gadhaffi. So is NATO admitting that they overstepped their mandate by now pulling out of Libya because they state that Gadhaffi is dead?

The Libyan people do not want the NATO controlled 'rebels' in charge so why would anyone believe the fighting will cease? The rebels have committed as much murder as NATO has--why do the people of Libya not need 'humanitarian aid' now? Oh, right--Gadhaffi was the 'bad guy', the rebels are killing out of love of the people? Rebecca Gingrich Princeton, Ontario
