Never Underestimate the Arrogance of The Biden White House

The arrogance demonstrated almost daily by the Biden White House is absolutely astounding. Their latest idea to save the planet is to somehow find a way to block sunlight from reaching Earth in a desperate attempt to keep our planet from warming any further over the next few years. The White House has even prepared a report on what is termed solar radiation modification (SRM), but they claim the report was written only to comply with a mandate from a $1.5 trillion dollar spending bill in 2022, and there are no actual plans to pursue this idea. Only time will tell whether this idea is pursued, but the whole premise, in my opinion, smacks not just of incredible arrogance, but also of ignorance.

Even an 8th grade science student understands that approximately 99% of planet Earth is dependent on sunlight to sustain life. The 1% of life that isn’t dependent on sunlight can be found in the form of bacteria or worms living in the deepest parts of the ocean where they actually get their warmth from heat released by the Earth’s core.

The White House regarding the blocking of radiation from the Sun to mitigate global warming

Former U.S. Vice-President Al Gore has the distinction of being the first person to really get Americans upset and worried about “global warming” with the release of his documentary film “An Inconvenient Truth” in 2006. With his giant scale diagrams and super serious tone of voice, he was able to convince a large portion of the American public that the Earth’s temperature was rising so rapidly that life on Earth was in danger. However, he conveniently forgot to mention that in the 1970s, climatologists were worried about the next Ice Age, not about global warming. The reality is that the Earth’s temperature fluctuates over long periods of time, and that the biggest reason for the fluctuation has to do with atmospheric changes caused by changes in the sun, emissions from volcanoes, variations in the Earth’s orbit, and varying levels of carbon dioxide (CO2).

But let’s get back to the report written by The White House regarding the blocking of radiation from the Sun to mitigate global warming. In looking back, it seems to me that first the Obama Administration and now the Biden Administration have learned to use various environmental issues like global warming or depletion of the ozone layer (or whatever name you want to give to something that sounds really bad) to scare our citizens and trick Congress into believing that our time on Earth is rapidly running out, and we must take extraordinary measures to solve or at least mitigate whatever the real or perceived problem might be. What is the real goal of keeping the citizenry worried and upset? Is it about power and control, which includes dependency on the government, or is it about more money allocated by Congress for the current Administration to spend on nebulous problems like “climate change”?

In 2023 very little of what federal or local governments propose or implement is really about what they claim it’s about

I would like to know how much of the $1.5 trillion The White House received for writing (or commissioning the writing) of what essentially amounts to “a white paper” on SRM, which is really a form of solar geoengineering. And, of course, if The White House, President Biden, or his fake climate czar John Kerry suggest a new tactic to mitigate the exceedingly broad and over-used term climate change, then we can be sure the Democrats and Left-leaning Republicans in Congress will figure out a way to draft legislation asking that even more money be allocated for the latest idea to save our planet.

Frankly, every time I hear the words “to save the planet,” I’m pretty sure the new idea for climate change mitigation is not going to be based on actual science and also not based in reality in terms of cost/benefit. The recent attempt to ban gas stoves is another good example of a climate change mitigation proposal that would have minimal impact on global warming, but tremendous impact on everyone’s quality of life and monthly budget because electricity has generally cost far more than natural gas.

The point I’m making is that in 2023 very little of what federal or local governments propose or implement is really about what they claim it’s about.

If the Biden Administration really wanted to “save the planet” or make life better for all Americans, they would be doing a much better job of prioritizing how our tax dollars are spent

The Biden Administration has been especially guilty of allocating money, often by Executive Order, to deal with things that traditionally have not been considered a major crisis.

For example, if the Biden Administration was really worried about homelessness, they would be incentivizing cities and states to actually build more homeless centers or some version of “a tiny home” community to deal with the problem. Instead, the Biden Administration continues to talk and talk about the problem while our government continues to provide a ridiculous amount of money for research to universities, private companies, and even to foreign governments for all sorts of “interesting but not crucial” research and development projects.

If the Biden Administration really wanted to “save the planet” or make life better for all Americans, they would be doing a much better job of prioritizing how our tax dollars are spent. They also wouldn’t be living in “a fantasy world” where they think they are smarter than God Almighty, and they can simply block out the sunlight at will to end the global warming crisis.
