New Orleans Officials Smeared Cap Black

As a Black man & ANTI CRIME ACTIVIST who comments regularly on safety rights issues locally and nationally, one thing that makes me GOOD & DAMNED MAD is when I'm FALSELY ACCUSED OF BEING A CRIMINAL, OR IN THE CASE OF A MONEY GRAM I WAS DELAYED SEVERAL HOURS IN GETTING YESTERDAY, 1/19/15, MLK DAY OF ALL DAYS, A TERRORIST???

Here's a thumb nail sketch on just how RIDICULOUS this smear is and why it points locally: I am a graduate of the Savannah (GA) FBI Citizens Academy, which obviously required a very broad background check. I have been a ride along participant with the Savannah Chatham Police Department. Were I felon or terrorist, I would NOT have been allowed entry to either the FBI office nor a police cruiser in my home town as a guest, NOT A SUSPECT!!! I also had a GA gun license and never lost my right to vote, further proof of my non-felon status. After moving to New Orleans and opposing the Mitch and Mary Landrieu duo on numerous issues, I now find myself "mistaken" last year for a domestic violence offender which resulted in an unnecessary one day delay in my purchasing a fire arm.

Now, the person who sent me the Money Gram yesterday was told my name was "mistaken" for someone on a GOVERNMENT WATCH LIST??? Did I mention I graduated from the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Citizens Academy late last year? This required, you guessed it, a background check since classes took place inside the Grand Jury room! This latest insult has me not only GOOD AND DAMNED MAD, but begs the question, "Who in New Orleans local circles has falsely accused me of activity I'm incapable of committing? " A related query is, "How many other conservatives have been targeted in this manner? " Proudly promoting traditional values shouldn't be a crime.
