No God, no United States of America
In an earlier article I identified honesty and reality as two missing ingredients in the conduct of the North American governments (The Missing Ingredients).  I am about to reveal the most important ingredient still missing not only from our governments but, from our North American cultures. The abandonment of this ingredient has contributed to the demise and deterioration of our two governments and society in general.  The United States Founding Fathers recognized and spoke quite openly about how a successful free society must have God intertwined with the people's government.  Without God and the sideboards of religion, specifically Christianity's morals and values, the government was destined to ultimately fail and society would return to tyranny.

Know God, know America

Approximately 30% of the citizens of the United States attend church on a regular basis.  Unfortunately, probably half of the churches have replaced the teachings of Jesus and the Bible with popular woke/social justice principles contrary to God's Word.  How well is that working out?  Declining church attendance, increased acceptance of sexual perversions, increasing acceptance of the murder of the unborn, property crime, acceptance of growing murder rates, belief that law enforcement is wrong, acceptance of blatant lying by government officials and everyone else, and failure to counter a massive invasion though the U.S. border suggests that things aren't working too well in America or Canada.
"A lie doesn't become truth, wrong doesn't become right and evil doesn't become good just because it's accepted by a majority" ~ Booker T. Washington
The following is guidance from America's Founding Fathers that we have managed to forget as a liberty-loving free society.
"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." ~ John Adams
"It is impossible to govern the world without God. It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the Providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits and humbly implore his protection and favor." ~ George Washington
"Do not let anyone claim tribute of American patriotism if they even attempt to remove religion from politics." ~ George Washington

"I am sure that never was a people, who had more reason to acknowledge a Divine interposition in their affairs, than those of the United States; and I should be pained to believe that they have forgotten that agency, which was so often manifested during our Revolution, or that they failed to consider the omnipotence of that God who is alone able to protect them." ~ George Washington
"What students would learn in American schools above all is the religion of Jesus Christ." ~ George Washington
"The reason that Christianity is the best friend of government is because Christianity is the only religion that changes the heart." ~ Thomas Jefferson
"Man will ultimately be governed by God or by tyrants." ~ Benjamin Franklin
"Remember civil and religious liberty always go together: if the foundation of the one be sapped, the other will fall of course." ~ Alexander Hamilton
"Liberty will not long survive the total extinction of morals." ~ Samuel Adams
"Religion and good morals are the only solid foundation of public liberty and happiness." ~ Samuel Adams
"The future and success of America is not in this Constitution, but in the laws of God upon which this Constitution is founded." ~ James Madison

"We have staked the whole future of our new nation, not upon the power of government; far from it. We have staked the future of all our political constitutions upon the capacity of each of ourselves to govern ourselves according to the moral principles of the Ten Commandments." ~ James Madison
"Our Constitution represents the work of the finger of Almighty God." ~ James Madison
"Resistance to tyranny becomes the Christian and social duty of each individual… Continue steadfast and, with a proper sense of your dependence on God, nobly defend those rights which heaven gave, and no man ought to take from us." ~ John Hancock
"It is when a people forget God, that tyrants forge their chains." ~ Patrick Henry
"My most cherished possession I wish I could leave you is my faith in Jesus Christ, for with Him and nothing else you can be happy, but without Him and with all else you'll never be happy." ~   Patrick Henry
With these words of America's Founding Fathers, how can there be any argument that religion is a necessary ingredient to a successful government for a free society?  The perverted interpretation of the First Amendment to the Constitution that has been too generally accepted about the "separation" of church and state is a gross misrepresentation of the Founding Fathers intent.

No God, no United States of America

"One's god dictates the kind of law one implements and also controls the application and development of that law over time. Given enough time, all non-Christian systems of law self-destruct in a fit of tyranny." ~ George Washington
"I wish I could leave you is my faith in Jesus Christ, …. but without Him and with all else you'll never be happy." ~   Patrick Henry
"It is when a people forget God, that tyrants forge their chains." ~ Patrick Henry
"Resistance to tyranny becomes the Christian and social duty of each individual… Continue steadfast and, with a proper sense of your dependence on God, nobly defend those rights which heaven gave, and no man ought to take from us." ~ John Hancock
"Resistance to tyranny is service to God." ~ James Madison
"Rebellion to tyranny is obedience to God." ~ Thomas Jefferson
America's Founding Fathers had an extraordinary understanding of human nature.  They hoped for something different, but they foresaw what has happened in the late 20th century and early 21st century in America. They prayed for a different outcome, but understood that history usually repeats itself.
When you don't change, history repeats itself. Then you have to decide if changing is for the best, or you keep seeing repeats because you're doing something right. ~ Rebecca McKinsey.
Each time history repeats itself, the price goes up. ~ Ronald Wright.
God is missing, or rather, He is being ignored in modern North America. Throughout history as recorded in the Bible, denying or ignoring God has never turned out well for the ungodly.  The Bible and our Founding Fathers gave us a heads up.  What are we going to do about it? Know God, know America.  No God, no America. Know God, know a free world.  No God, no free world.
