No more seats added to Parliament

No one, and I repeat, no one, in this country wants more seats added to parliament. This will cost the taxpayers an extra 14 million dollars a year and of course this will rise every year.
Quebec has been over represented for decades and now even they get 3 more seats in this latest proposal. What the hell is going on here? We can not afford 30 more seats, and if anyone on the hill had a brain they would admit this. Our debt is approaching 600 billion dollars, not to mention how heavily in debt the provinces are. When is this going to be paid off? Do you not care about all this debt you are leaving your children, your grandchildren? This under representation for Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia can easily be resolved without costing the taxpayers a fortune. How you might ask? Reduce the seats in the provinces that are now overrepresented such as Kebec (proper native spelling). Bring in representation by population without adding more seats. All it would take is an amendment by parliament to make this happen. Amendments have been made to constitutions for centuries now. Yes it is that easy. Look into it, this can be done.

Wake up, politicians. We simple can’t afford this nonsense any longer. Anthony Silvestro Ottawa, Ont
