Numbers game: rioters compose a fraction of Trump rallies

Putting things in proper perspective gives America the opportunity to examine the pathetically small numbers of criminals roaming the streets of our major cities purportedly in protest of a Trump presidency. Yes, the lawbreakers are destroying property, assaulting innocents and burning flags, but the depraved mobs make-up maybe 1% of the multitudes that crammed arenas to rally for Donald Trump. That little statistic should speak for itself, and it would if the media didn't wallow in the violent outbursts perpetrated by paid agitators who glory in wreckage.

The wonder of it all is that municipalities are virtually sitting on their thumbs while provocateurs on the George Soros payroll--attested by the numerous advertisements seeking part-time anarchists--turn their business districts to rubble. Cars turned over and set afire, windows smashed and all forms of property destruction has become a regular event in the last few years, condoned by the outgoing president. The fabricated narrative that White America is the villain behind the nation's demise has been lapped up by the growing number of under and unemployed, many of them young and ill-educated (thank you, federally-funded public schools). Fanatical youth that has embraced every hoax, from the nirvana of health insurance to climate change end times, is suffering from unwarranted, abject terror. In this day and age, college educated millennials live in fear that the government will decrease in size, removing the possibility of landing a federal job. How backwards is that to believe that a government job is the be-all and end-all for career building when it's the private sector that provides the payroll for the largest employer in the nation--government? It is the ultimate oxymoron to believe that a government job is the most enviable position when private sector is the ultimate provider for that job. The first cannot exist without the latter which the former is destroying under crushing regulation. The definitive biting of the hand that feeds you. But this is the kind of nonsense that has been beaten into the brains of the mostly youthful throngs now roving city centers with baseball bats, rocks and Molotov cocktails. Many refer to politics as a blood sport. Hour by hour, as the ethnic and color divide has grown by virtue of a biased, bigoted Obama presidency, politics has moved from the marketplace of ideas into violent contention, egged on by the eons-old concept of "divide and conquer." Division is the whole purpose behind the Left bankrolling the "outbreak" of riots in that nothing will crumble a social order better than internal strife.

Rioters must be charged, convicted and pay hefty fines for the crimes of assault, battery, vandalism, destruction of property, breaking and entering, looting and burglary. Letting them off without consequences serves no one, certainly it doesn't improve the future of any of the perpetrators. As the final votes are tallied in the remaining states, such as Arizona coming in for President-elect Trump, the popular vote numbers align with the Electoral College, overwhelming the widespread voter fraud racking up hundreds of thousands of illicit ballots for the democrat candidate. The very fact that hired thugs are wandering the streets, pummeling Trump voters and setting businesses ablaze is argument enough for the genius of our Founders in creating the Electoral College--purposefully to make certain all votes count to avoid just this kind of dem(mob)ocracy. The republic works when everyone applies its generous and proper principles.

There may be a spurt of violent disruptions that the media revels in focusing its cameras, but it will fizzle like every other disturbance once the public loses interest, just like the Occupy movement. All it took was the winter cold to set in for the mobs to disperse. The discomfort of subfreezing weather generally outweighs the "fun" of blowing up stuff. It's like my mother used to say about bullying pests... "Ignore them and they'll go away." You know what? They always did.
