“President Barack Obama is now marshalling the anger some critics have been demanding that he show in connection with the oil spill--but it's directed, at least in part, at the same TV pundits who have been pounding him over the issue. “In an excerpt from an interview with NBC's Matt Lauer, Obama made clear that the chattering class is getting under his skin with claims he was too slow to react to the spill. "I was down there a month ago, before most of these talking heads were even paying attention to the gulf. A month ago, I was meeting with fishermen down there standing in the rain talking about what a potential crisis this would be," the president said. “Obama also seemed to be bridling at criticism that his management style is too professorial. "I don't sit around just talking to experts because this is a college seminar. We talk to these folks because they, potentially, have the best answers so I know whose # to kick," Obama told NBC.”Splendid, terrific attitude and it is about time, sir! Now as far as knowing whose “# to kick” may we remind you that W. is no longer in office, so blaming him may make you feel better, but it will not do a damn thing to address the issue. Instead, we urge the immediate dismissal of Janet Napolitano and Ken Slazar and all people reporting to them. After that, sir, we recommend that you find yourself a comfortable chair and a large mirror. Take a deep breath and gaze straight into that mirror, sir, and you will find the person most deserving of a tush thrashing. By the way, sir, if you don’t kick the right #, we the people will do so in November!
