The Obama administration is not competent running the government, voters say 53 - 42 percent. The president is paying attention to what his administration is doing, 45 percent say, while 47 percent say he is not paying attention. 46 percent say he is honest and trustworthy and 49 percent say he is notAs I said Monday, Obama's numbers aren't collapsing because people aren't paying attention, and it's not because they've bought into some false narrative proffered by the right. The fact is that - while it took them far too long - people are finally admitting the truth of the President's tenure. His administration is rife with scandal, it's headed by an empty suit, and its failing to comply with the wishes of the majority of Americans. He can blame whoever he likes. The fact is, as his failures mount, he's finally starting to have a tough time shifting responsibility. If he had anything positive to offer as counterpoint, his arguments might carry some weight. Sadly, that’s just not the case.
