Obama: Trump Ran for President to Promote His Hotel Business
Obama previously went after Trump at the Correspondents Dinner in 2011. Trump clearly did not appreciate the president’s remarks.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Obama said in his remarks at Saturday’s White House Correspondents Dinner that Republican Donald Trump ran for president to promote his hotel business.
“The end of the Republic has never looked better,” Obama said.
Obama’s remarks were predictably harsh on Trump.
