At first, I wondered why a friend would send me this three year-old, four minute video. But I watched it anyway, thinking I would soon get the gist of it, switch off, and go to the next e-mail in my never-empty in-box.
But to my surprise ... "Whoa Nelly!" ... This is an
outstanding video ... a must watch ... a five-minute university of information produced in May 2009 by Michael Voris, S.T.B., the founder of
RealCatholicTV.com.
I don't care whether you are Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, some other faith, agnostic or an atheist, this video is absolutely prescient and even prophetic. Everything Michael Voris said then in 2009 has come true as we approach the end of the first term of America's "Dance with the Devil."

Michael Voris also correctly points out that Obama and his Progressive agenda seek to establish a Utopia, a "Heaven on Earth" One wonders why, in the face of the collapse of the European model that he worships, that he is compelled to go on. This is the the way of the ideologue. Never mind that Socialism has failed everywhere it has been implemented, Obama thinks he will get it right. But wait! The Catholic Church says that Obama is destroying Freedom of Religion ... and by proxy ... Speech and Assembly in the process. The Catholic Church stands in firm opposition to any view that denies man's origin and destiny in God. Obama is driven. Therefore, he and his Czars must eliminate any and all Catholic Church opposition by neutralizing the Church. He also has designed the elimination of any other opposition for that matter. President Obama is no innocent babe here. He knows exactly what he is doing, and he has chosen the Catholic Church in true Alinsky style:
- Pick the target
- Freeze it
- Personalize it
- Polarize it.
Voris warned that our Imperator President had surrounded himself, for appearance-sake, with nominal Catholics [those who have betrayed their Faith]. Obama established an internal "Catholic " Campaign Commission to garner the votes of those Catholics who have "itching ears." Obama seriously ignored and insulted the Church hierarchy by not inviting the Denver Archbishop to the Democrat Convention in 2008. In a corollary move, Obama did not invite any Catholic Cleric to his"messianic" 2009 inauguration. Instead he received the praise and blessings from poet Elizabeth Alexander and an invocation by the harmless Pastor Rick Warren. Once in Office he selected Pro-Abortion, faux Catholics like Kathleen Sebelius [HHS Secretary] to his cabinet, and appointed pro-abortion Ambassadors to predominantly Catholic countries and the Vatican. Obama called on phony Catholic organizations like "Catholics United for the Common Good" and "Catholics United" [financed by George Soros] to be the face of his so-called ObamaCare. The goal is to splinter, divide, and so isolate the Catholic Church as to render it ineffective.
The eventual institution of a single-payer, government-run, Socialized Medicine Program in the USA is the goal. Obama knows full well that once this is achieved that there will be nothing standing in the way of fully implementing Socialism in the United States. Once he controls all facets of health care, he and his "death panels" will have the power of life and death over us Citizens. Ronald Reagan warned us in the early 1960s that this was the ultimate dream of Liberal Progressive politicians. America, at large, ignored Reagan because the Left demonized him at that time as an extremist, just as they did to Goldwater, and anyone else who attempted to roll back the size of the Federal Government.
I still can recall debating the negative side on the proposition for Socialized Medicine in a debate tournament at Bowling Green State University in Spring of 1964. That is how long the left has been working on this! Regrettably, now the only thing standing in the way is religious conscience. Do away with that and the final stumbling block to a secular, utilitarian Socialist State is moved out of the way. They are pulling out all of the stops. The current debate over contraception is a sideshow by the Left to deflect attention to the stinging rebuke, the spanking received from the American Bishops. The Bishops refused to accept the Obama demands to provide contraception, sterilization, abortifacients and abortion services at Catholic Hospitals. Admirable. Let us hope and pray that the Bishops do not back down.
But, you might ask, how was it that the Catholic Church recognized so early on, the evils of Progressive Socialism? The answer is intuitive to all practicing Christians and Jews. Christians and Jews believe that the Revelation of God is complete and manifest to all. His "Plan," laid out long ago [in human terms] included Salvation from the very beginning: From Adam and Eve, to Noah, to Job, to Moses, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to David and the re-establishment of Israel. Christians, particularly, claim to be branches grafted on to this True Vine through the life and death and propitiation of our sins by Jesus.
All People" have the Free Will to say "Yes" or "No" to God and His Salvation. He does not "will" that any man be separated from Him. But it is still, in the end, our choice. Incredible as this seems, many presumably choose to reject God, to be separated. Such folks believe they need no God and reject such "silly, superstitious beliefs." Performer Bill Maher is one such man. I choose to believe. I also believe that if we, as a Nation truly believed, that "God shed his grace" on America, then most would never, ever choose Socialism. It is anathema to God's Plan. But many would and many do, every day. Making a wrong [evil] choice is simple to do, the camouflage and deceit are complex, but the allure of Heaven on Earth is tempting. The real results of such a poor choice are devastating. The abandonment of God leads to bondage to man.
The agents of "Progressive Socialism" [an oxymoron as silly as "Scientific Communism"] mouth the words of compassion and universal care. But they are not within the law and the spirit of the US Constitution contextually. They are also not in the full context of our American Judeo-Christian Tradition. Nor can they be found in full context within the Bible. Their beliefs are not the true beliefs of the Catholic, Protestant, or Jewish Faiths. They are the twisted words from Karl Marx disguised as "Liberation Theology," or other radical racial Theologies spun by the many and various smooth talking religious hucksters and religious bigots.
I do wonder if America stands on the precipice of losing her soul. Our Faiths have become so watered down that one rarely hears [in our Churches and Synagogues] sermons, homilies, amplifications of readings, or teachings that dare to explain the demands of morality. To those who say that we can't Legislate morality, I would reply that Morality proceeds the Law. "A father does not give his son a stone when the child asks for bread." Think about it. This saying has at least two facets. First, saying that something is so when it is not, does not change the fact that it is not so. First, a stone is not bread. Second, saying that Lies are Truth because we legislate them to be so is an offense against Morality. Morality has an imperative. Morality is Truth. Truth is God. If we do not believe this then we choose to embrace anything that sounds good, appeals to the eye, or is pleasant to the senses. We become no better than animals. If that is so, then we are morally blind, our guides are morally blind and culpable, and the People, without a true vision, are doomed. But my Catholic Faith teaches me that: God is Love, God is Free, God does not lie [Heaven forbid!], and no matter how weak we are, God will teach us how to remain Free and Prosper if we but persevere and trust in Him. Yes indeed, all of this from a four-minute video.
