That government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth

Of Historical Importance and Imperative

While many consider the Midterm elections of 2010 the most important in America’s history, the next two years may be more crucial to her survival as a republic. What the congress can achieve, or deconstruct rather, this year will set the groundwork for the 2012 election. But the GOP/Tea Party coalition must also be able to “market” its accomplishments and the reasons behind them.

The American public will be bombarded with outrageous claims by the Obama administration – echoed by a lapdog media

The American public will be bombarded with outrageous claims by the Obama administration – echoed by a lapdog media. The sheer amount of money to market the socialist agenda will be enough to feed several third world countries for years, and the conservative answer must not wait to go on the defensive. Unlike other presidential election years, this campaign for both sides is already well underway. The Republicans need now, more than ever, to say what they are going to do, then do it, then say why they did what they did. In each and every case they must remind the press that what they are doing—whether it’s tearing apart Obamacare piece by piece, defunding pork projects, investigating the administration corruption, or restoring the sanity of the constitution into new legislation. This congress needs to be bold, be unapologetic, and be true to those who sent them to carry out the hopes of the majority. And those who speak for the conservatives must not waver in their defiance of the socialistic influence that was the hallmark of the Democratic majority in both the House and Senate and of course the White House. Never before in this country’s history has such a move to the Left been engineered so brazenly and without regard to parliamentary procedure. The Right must never let the public forget how this administration pushed through a stimulus with such damaging debt, how it allowed for the wanton disregard of economic common sense as the Fed went on a money printing rampage, and how millions remain unemployed in the face of a government which has turned more and more belligerent to free market capitalism. It is this congress, sent by a wave of anti-Obama; anti-socialist feelings that must remove the stain of government overreach and return it to the people—that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.
