Most savage and deliberate sell out of the mainstream media to the Democrats in recent history

Open Letter to Senator McCain: Governor Sarah Palin

Senator John McCain Washington, D.C. Dear Senator McCain, Distressing reports are cropping up on the Internet and in traditional news venues concerning the performance of Governor Sarah Palin during the 2008 presidential campaign.

With all due respect, as a conservative I was undecided about whether or not to support your candidacy until you named Governor Palin as your running mate in August. Governor Palin's energy and enthusiasm transformed millions of apathetic conservatives into hopeful, revitalized activists eager to work and vote for the Republican ticket. Unfortunately, the governor was victimized by the most savage and deliberate sell out of the mainstream media to the Democrats in recent history. No one should be exposed to the biased and cruel pummeling that was heaped upon this kind and generous mother and grandmother, and state governor, by biased vipers in the media. Even more distressing are reports which suggest that members of your own staff undercut the Governor with anonymous criticisms that essentially blame her for the election day loss. Senator, 56 million people voted for the McCain-Palin ticket on November 4, which is millions of votes greater than Bill Clinton claimed in either of his election bids. Of course, there is no way to know with any degree of certainty how much impact Governor Palin had on the final vote total. Suffice it to say, however, that her presence on the ticket inspired many conservatives to do their civic duty on November 4. Governor Palin deserves to be recognized for her positive contributions to your campaign and encouraged to be a major player in Republican politics in the years ahead. A definitive statement to that effect from you would be most helpful. Sincerely, JOHN LILLPOP San Jose Ca
