Oprah to be Named Army Chief of Staff

Now that the administration has elucidated its priorities and demands diversity at any price, Obama yearns to appoint leadership more aligned with his goals. The term “diversity” is liberal code that has nothing to do with the stated agenda of “multiculturalism,” which is supposed to be the study of different cultures.

The left has been trying to force the military into the same template found in our colleges and universities. It was rabid political correctness that enabled Muslim extremist, Nidal Hassan to carry out his jihad on Ft. Hood. His ideology could not have been more conspicuous. Hassan gave a lecture at 
Walter Reed that was supposed to be about a medical topic. Instead he went on a rant about Islam, insisting that infidels should have their heads sawed off and boiling oil poured down their throats. That might have gotten the attention of someone in authority. He got a poor performance review. Hasan all but posted on Facebook the date and time of his planned jihad. But none dared risk showing cultural insensitivity toward the Muslim officer. These are the top down policies that get innocent Americans killed. If the Amish start hijacking jets and flying them into our skyscrapers, they should be subject to additional scrutiny too. For the moment, it’s radical Islam kindling the carnage. Nobody has a constitutional right to join the military. It will be interesting to see whether the Army gets to handle Hasan’s case, as is required or if Holder’s Department of Justice co-opts it for political purposes. Hasan’s attorney is already carping about how mean it would be to subject Hasan to a military trial. If the DOJ hijacks it, questions have to be raised: are they motivated by political correctness or an even more apocalyptic willful blindness.
