Good morning guys! How’s everybody today? It sure is a beautiful morning down here in Central Florida! We hope this finds you all well, and in good spirits. Thank you once more for stopping in to visit with us again. You guys are great!
We put up a few videos and I believe I’ve talked with you all before about our camphouse. We did a video of it and I thought I’d share this with you guys today. We built it at the suggestion of our oldest son, Josh. Deb and I had put up a gazebo about 100 yards out behind our house. We built it 14’x14’. We did this as a little “break place,” to get out of the summer heat, and it’s under such a large canopy of trees, it stays about 20 degrees cooler than it is out in the sun. Ole Dub’s “all about that!” Anyway, Josh asked if we’d mind letting him close it in and make a camphouse for him and his boys to use? We told him that it would be fine, and that we’re glad to do it. The reasoning…get them boys outdoors!!

Too many kids today get wrapped up indoors, and just don’t seem to understand what they’re missing. I for one, can’t understand this for the life of me, but as people point out to me…times are changing! Humph…I swear, I don’t see a whole lot of good in many of the changes we are undergoing….maybe I’ve become…GASP… “an old fogey???” Hmmmmmm…. Naw, of course I ain’t!! LOL! I may have “Winter on my head, BUT…I still got “Spring in my rear-end!!” LOL!! But seriously people, too many of our children today stay “cooped up,” no fresh air to speak of, very little exercise, and many not eating good, healthy meals. This is very sad to me. Shoot, when we were kids you had to call us at black dark to get us to come inside. We wanted little or none to do with “inside.” When it rained outside…we were just heart broke. Actually our Mama’s were too. More...

Dub and Deb——

‘Ridin Out The Recession With Dub and Deb in “Miz Judi’s Kitchen’!

Note to Readers: There are a few things that Dub doesn’t know but one thing he does know is that the word ‘Riding’ (as in Riding Out the Recession) is spelled with a ‘g’ at the end.  But Dub not only walks the walk, but speaks like he is: down home, true blue, and plain speakin’ country folk.

Dub and Deb are both native Floridians, live in Central Florida, and run a small business as well. They have five children, and seven grandchildren.

Both love to cook, love to laugh, grow a garden, and generally try to “aggravate” most anyone around them basically…all in good fun, of course!
