Our Sound and Video Bite World

I recently saw a clip from Jesse Watters Fox News program that illustrates quite well the fact that we live in a sound and video bite world.  This world demonstrates that critical thinking is a lost skill, and the mainstream media is facilitating and perpetuating stupidity in America and the world.  It further illustrates how easy it is to manipulate people simply by how information is presented; content is almost irrelevant.

Watters presented information gathered from a YouGovAmerica poll conducted in January 2022.  The questions and results were:

1. What percentage of Americans are African American?  Answer: 41%   Reality: 12% 2. What percentage of Americans are Hispanic?  Answer: 39%   Reality:  17%

The people polled thought only 20% of Americans were Caucasian, Non-African Blacks, Asian, Indians, and American Indians.  Really?  I guess they don’t believe their lying eyes!  Seems critical thinking or simply connecting the dots is beyond these people.  But wait--there's more!

3. What percentage of Americans earn more than $500,000 per year? Answer:  26%  Reality: 1% 4. What percentage of Americans are left handed?  Answer:  34%   Reality:  11% 5. What percentage of Americans are vegan or vegetarian?  Answer:  30%   Reality;  5% 6. What percentage of Americans live in New York City?  Answer:  30%   Reality:  3%

Seriously, those polled think nearly 1/3 of all Americans live in New York City!

7. What percentage of Americans are transgender?  Answer:  21%   Reality:  1% 8. What percentage of Americans are gay?  Answer:  30%   Reality:  3%

Yup, the people polled are under the impression that every other person in America is either gay or transgender.  Hurray for the Marxist American education system; your mission to create idiot drones is working well! This information suggests that, as a culture, too many Americans have lost touch with reality and are forming their opinions based on how much time is devoted to a subject in the lame stream media rather than actual content.  This validates what we saw in the lame stream media during the lead up to the 2020 Presidential Election.  Joe: Good, good, good, even if he didn’t come out of his basement.  Trump: Bad, bad, bad, we have to hate Orange Man.  So these highly educated, but stupid drones weighed their decision about who to vote for based on “the smoke and mirrors” provided by the fake news media, coupled with some creative Marxist Democrat cheating of the vote count. America, and even civilization, is in deep, deep trouble if this lack of understanding about what goes on around us is this wide spread.  These people are a product of an education system that  doesn’t educate; it simply produces “educated” yet stupid, brainwashed drones that become the mass psychotic minions of the Marxist oligarchs of American and the world.  The civilized world is in jeopardy, if these people don’t awaken from their stupor.
