It was inevitable and predictable. There are just too many responsible parents in this province to "roll over" like the B.C. Government Ministry of Education did in captitulating to the demands of well known homosexual activists Murray and Peter Corren. The secret legal agreement between the B.C. Government and the Corren's giving them unprecedenteed control and influence over the province's education curriculum was done without proper discussion, consensus or scrutiny.

A significant number of parents are not impressed with the Ministry's self-proclaimation of being world leaders in diversity training and rightfully believe they as parents are the primary educators of their children as recognized in Article 16 of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human rights. They believe they should have a voice in curriculum development affecting their chldren. A recently formed group of parents and working organizations called "Take Back our Schools" believe the Corren's hijacked the B.C. education system and are joining with other groups like Parents for Democracy in Education Society, BC Parents and Teachers for Life, Real Women of BC and others to fight for their rights as parents and the rights of their children. As Raymond Roussin, Roman Catholic Archbishop of Vancouver wrote it is "the fundamental and non-negotiable right of parents to raise their family and educate their children." Gerald Hall Nanoose Bay, B.C.
