Partisanship? What Partisanship?

Dunn said, “So it was very much we controlled it, as opposed to the press controlled it. And it did not always make us popular with the press. But we increasingly by the general election very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn't absolutely control.” Is anyone surprised that shortly after taking office Obama’s West Wing tried to get away with excluding Fox News from White House press conferences? What was begun then has continued to this day. The arrogance is still a deeply rooted facet of this administration. Each day they reveal they still know nothing about what makes the American people tick. Let’s explore for a second the ongoing complaints of “partisan bickering” coming from the White House, the Democrat-controlled Senate and the Congress with a Democrat supermajority; Evan Bayh, Democrat Senator from Indiana has announced that he is yet another Democrat jumping ship. Not since the days of Newt Gingrich’s term as Speaker have we seen as many unhappy liberals in Washington. The real puzzler is, why? Even with Scott Brown’s election the Democrats still have 59 votes in the Senate and a supermajority in Congress. Every Republican in both houses could stand firm on any issue and still not prevent its passage. I ask again, what partisanship? Are these weenies leaving because they can’t take even a little criticism? Seems to me there is something else going on here and the problem is not with the conservative side of the aisle. By its own admission, the Obama White House is running the mainstream media in much the same manner as the old Soviet Union and Communist China. Even a brief search through the net will get you more than enough stories to show that oppressive regimes are the most sensitive when it comes to be disagreed with. The reactions coming from the Democrats whenever a conservative punches yet another hole into their balloon line up almost exactly with those of North Korea, China, Venezuela, Cuba, you know, Obama’s drinking buddies. Is it any wonder that liberal governments such as South Carolina’s are repackaging yet again anti-subversion legislation? Even the White House suggested a bill making opinion disagreeing with Obama a crime just short of treason. Who needs to adhere to that pesky First Amendment anyway? With the absolute control the Democrats have over the media, the Congress and yes, even the Senate, every item on Obama’s wish list should already be law. Every right wing talk show host should be in a FEMA reeducation camp, only those corporations friendly to the socialist cause should be in existence and Wal Mart’s CEO should be sitting in his own cell in Gitmo. So why hasn’t this happened? Why hasn’t every name yelled out in his Die! Die! Die! Tirade been executed? They have the power, why can’t they exercise it? Are the Democrats that incompetent? Yes, they are. The left is running scared, even when they are in control. Just 4 elections and they are already in full panic mode. This would be like the New York Yankees, when they had both Ruth and Gehrig at bat and up by 20 runs, acting as if they were about to lose because the Red Socks got a grand slam. Obviously, it is just that silly. Rather than doing what they need to do to get the voter back, the Democrats are attacking them for not believing the liberal line. The Healthcare bill died and they blamed the Republicans. This was back when the GOP had no power to affect the passage of this awful consume rip-off whatsoever, but somehow the bill’s failure was the fault of the Party of No. Obama’s other legacy, Cap and Trade, what would have been the final deathblow to capitalism in the US, is on its last legs and again the Democrats are blaming the Republicans. Why? What is this mysterious power an ineffective minority has? We have already seen that Reid and Pelosi care nothing for the American voter. Broken promises are, quite literally, a joke to them. Check out this video of Pelosi laughing at a reporter’s question about campaign promises of transparency being broken: Rednecks, buffoons, illiterate red staters, bible-thumping morons, militia types who bitterly cling to their guns and religion while secretly passing around dog-eared copies of the Federalist Papers; these are all descriptions the left have for those who object to the erosion of our Constitutional liberties. They used to be said with a dismissive chuckle. The laughter is not being heard now, and it only took 4 elections. We know the Democrats will never blame themselves for their own failure. Who are they going to blame this November? Perhaps they will still be hoping for change.
