Eva is one cool young lady. She is only twenty years old. She is smart and loves to play with little kids. Eva enjoys video games, reading, computer programming, and turning everyday life into a song. Eva has hopes and dreams for the future just like every young person. Several years ago, however, Eva was diagnosed with lupus.
By the time this diagnosis was made, Eva's kidneys had already been badly damaged. Since her kidneys do not function properly, Eva will require a kidney transplant soon. The transplant operation and medications are very expensive. Eva needs to raise $10,000 in order to be placed on the transplant list. If she is able to raise the necessary funds before her 21st birthday, she will be placed on the Juvenile transplant list. In this case, she will likely receive her transplant years sooner than if she is placed on the adult list. Eva needs our help! None of us can afford to give the entire amount, but we can all afford to give something.
