I have waited patiently years to say this – and here it comes: (this feels so sweet)
For YEARS under the Liberal banner, then Finance Minister Paul Martin starved – no destroyed, the Canadian Armed Forces to save money. All we need, according to Mr. Martin and his Liberal Party, is Blue Helmets with the White Cross on because Canadians are Peace Keepers not WAR makers.
He even went to Libya to speak to the dictator Gaddafi about international issues when he was Prime Minister. But now, as he sees Gaddafi slaughter peaceful protesters who are rallying for democracy, Martin wants the UN to send in troops to Libya to save the demonstrators from this carnage. Canada does not have enough troops to do anything now and possibly for years to come, thanks to his cut-and-burn approach.
REALLY good foresight from a previous CANADIAN PRIME MINISTER who made our troops the laughing stock of the world – with green uniforms for desert duty for one of many examples.
I feel the right to say: Mr. Paul Martin, due to your poor leadership and the Federal Liberal Party’s lack of understanding of world issues – you have become an OXYMORON.
