Get ready for 4 years of more massive government growth, higher government salaries, new by-laws, new social programs, tax increases, more government empire building…the union bullies love it, same old, same old, everyone entitled to their entitlements.

They got their man elected. This person, Jim Watson, is a disaster in the making. He will not cut anything, he will not reduce anything, and I guarantee it, just watch. You think your taxes are high now? Watch where they will be in 4 years. Get ready. I understand why he won. We live in a very greedy city where everyone working for government feels they are entitled to everything. Watson is pro government growth, a friend of the unions, and has been for decades. It’s truly sad that we have created this type of society over the last several decades. You people in government are not thinking about your children or your grandchildren’s future. You are not thinking about all the debt you are leaving behind. All you are worried about is your nice fat pensions. What a self-absorbed, narcissist, "me me me" society we have become. Someone has to pay for all of this mismanagement and spending eventually, but, of course, all you people creating this mess will be retired with a nice big fat pension. Poor Ottawa, poor Canada.
