A week or two back I read an article where the Federal Liberals were accusing the Federal Conservative Government of treating some Canadians differently in some areas of Canada , and that was very bad. I was in a bit of shock as I read of the reasons they gave for wanting changes in our EI plan.
Something kept taking me back to the "statement" of inequality between Canadians and the "loud" protest being voiced. It took me awhile but eventually I remembered why I even cared what they thought. I don't like it when the "pot calls the kettle black" and does it so vehemently. This leads me to say to the Federal Liberals your bill C 68 did the very same thing. It drove a wedge between the Urban and Rural Canadians and you still fully endorse such actions to this day. Rural Canadians are getting all the "grief" that the Gun Control causes and the Urban Canadians, who don't see the need for firearms, get the" fuzzy feel good feeling".
Perhaps the New Leader of the Opposition should "review" what the Party Platform was in the years past, before he showed up on the Canadian scene. It might just keep one from "putting their foot in their mouth" so often.
