Today, at 5:30 PM, Senator Obama held a rally at the Rochester Opera House on Wakefield Street, in Rochester.

Fifteen pro-life activists from the Washington DC based Christian Defense Coalition and the California based "Survivors" group shut down the Obama campaign rally chanting "abortion is an Obama- nation." The chant was a play on the phrase "abortion is an abomination." Rev. Patrick Mahoney said, "We had this prophetic pro- life witness to call upon Senator Obama to end the war on America's children through abortion. This war has resulted in the deaths of over fifty-million innocent children. Tragically Senator Obama supports a radical pro-abortion position which is a betrayal of human rights and social justice. We will continue throughout the Presidential campaign to peacefully and prayerfully challenge Senator Obama to support the dignity and sanctity of all human life." Danielle Versluys said, "Tonight the Survivors broke the silence and spoke directly to Senator Obama about his unacceptable pro-abortion stand. Until Senator Obama adopts a pro-life position, the Survivors will continue to challenge him. Stop the war on our generation." A video clip of the protest is available here:
