To the progressive ideologue mindstate, American is a template that awaits enhanced development based on equality of outcome, prideful tribal identity, and the benevolent oversight of an enlightened class of intellectual bureaucrats.   It is the class of elites, in and out of government, who intellectually and intuitively know what's best for We The People.  None dare call them tyrannical, for they have only the best interests of We The People in mind.  To facilitate that, the ruling class deigns to provide The People with the basic necessities of life – sustenance, shelter, health care, and government-designed education.  Cradle to grave.

In the Law, we trade: Chief Justice William Rehnquist for Chief Justice John Roberts (Was he the 'John Roberts' on the manifest for the Lolita Express to Epstein's Island?); FBI Director William Hedgcock Webster for Bob ('I never knew that!') Mueller and James ('I don't recall that') Comey. In Race Relations, we trade: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for the Reverends Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson (A man compassionate enough to have two families). Regarding TV Evangelists, we trade:  the Reverend Billy Graham for Houston Evangelist Joel Osteen. Concerning War-Fighting Generals: For General Dwight David Eisenhower we get General ('Bug out and leave m' behind) Mark A. Milley; for Marine Corp Commandant Alexander Vandergrift (Medal of Honor) we get Marine Corps General Frank (Really sorry about that drone attack) McKenzie, Commander of US Central Command, who ordered the killing of one adult and seven children with a drone strike, based on bad intelligence (Is there any other kind these days?). In science, we traded: Jonas Salk, who cured polio, for government 'science' bureaucrat Anthony Fauci, who has cured nothing. And, Dr. Deborah Birx, the silk-scarf queen, who has…vanished.  Finally, there's the media, where we traded:  Erick Sevareid for Don Lemon:  Harry Reasoner for Brian Stelter; Roger Mudd for Chris Cuomo, plus Fareed Zakaria with an option on Christiane Amanpour; Edward R. Morrow ('This is London' in the Blitz) for Clintonite George Stephanopoulos, smooth David Muir, and a future draft choice; Walter Cronkite for Rachel Maddow and (No)Joy Reid of MSNBC.  The bad trades go on.  Meanwhile, Sam Donaldson and Dan Rather await feelers, in vain. And, finally, we traded President Donald Trump: For President Joe ('This is what I'm supposed to say') Biden, who withers like a summer flower in the winter of his conscious awareness.
