Proud To Be An American

The latest Gallup Poll indicates that a mere 36% of Democrats and 53% of Independents are proud to be Americans. On the other hand, 92% of Republicans are proud to be Americans. WOW! Is Trump hate that rampant?

I don’t think so. I wish it were as simple as Trump hate, but in my view there are other issues and the symptoms are seen on the news every day. While I would not argue or denigrate the amount of Trump hate, the bigger reason is ignorance, which is even more rampant in America today.

First and foremost is the American education system. In 2025, and for at least the previous 25 years, a high school diploma is only a participation trophy. In the same regard, any college degree that doesn’t prepare the individual to earn a living is also nothing more than a participation trophy. Either version of a college degree usually comes with a massive amount of student debt attached.

For the last 50 years, education became secondary in colleges and was replaced by socialist indoctrination. In the last 25 years socialist indoctrination has replaced education in most public high schools and is now even matriculating into the public primary schools. Since Barack Obama was President only a “queered” version of American history has been taught in public schools.

If you don’t know true American history, how can you be proud? If you only know the twisted socialist’s version of American history, you can only feel shame about being an American. Too many Americans have accepted the lies they were taught in school. No wonder the numbers reflect what they reflect. Ignorance is the problem.

In the 1950s Nikita Khrushchev said that the communists/socialists would go after our children and thus ultimately defeat America. Now we are beginning to understand what he meant and largely the socialists do own the American education system. However, it is not yet too late for patriotic Americans to reclaim the education system, God willing, and if we are willing to work to do so.

President Trump has brought God back into the public and government square. It will take two things to bring down America. God, and Christianity in particular, must be neutralized to abolish moral standards and shame. In some parts of America, it appears this has been achieved, but not really. The other stumbling block for taking down America is the United States Constitution.

Make no mistake, the Socialist Democrat Party isn’t only the clown Mamdani in New York City. The whole Democrat Party has been pushing versions of socialism for the last 50 years with Obama being the first to come out of the closet, even before the blatant socialist tyranny of the Biden administration’s police state. The socialist movement in America is gaining its best support by Gen Z. This is the generation that has had nearly life-long indoctrination by the socialist public education system.

I would venture to say that those who do not have pride in America are ignorant about what America is. They don’t have a clue that America is the most generous nation on the planet when it comes to human compassion. They are ignorant that America saved the world three times from evil tyrants that wanted to rule the world. The Gen Z LGBTQ+ people are ignorant of the fact that these 8^th century Islamists they advocate for would kill them.

These people who cannot be proud of America, unlike many in the world, have an open opportunity to explore any of the 190 plus nations all over the globe until they find one that they can be proud of. However, before they start exploring, I would advise them to talk to legal immigrants who have become naturalized American citizens. These people appreciate America as only someone can who comes from somewhere that doesn’t have the liberty Americans enjoy.

God has given every natural born American the greatest gift a human could possibly have in the world today. Native-born American citizens did not have to do anything to be blessed with everything America has to offer. It is too bad so many ignorant people can’t see the forest because of the trees. It is sad that Democrats can only be proud of America when their political team is in charge (62%). Maybe Trump hate is a bigger problem than I thought, but that would mean to me that ignorance is a bigger problem than I thought.

An honest-to-God-true-American should be proud of America no matter which political party is in charge.
