Racing to Be Wrong

They need to deftly pin this on the tea partiers, -Democrat operative I often compare liberals to toddlers–both have low impulse control. Those who fail to outgrow this phase become liberals who spend their adult lives in utter hysterics over imaginary demons, while embracing actual monsters. Once a liberal has latched on to an imaginary bad guy, astonishing amounts of emotional energy are dedicated to maintaining the fantasy that the pretend evildoer is the source of everything bad that happens.

Sadly, many overgrown toddlers find jobs in the media which provides them endless opportunities for acting out on a large scale. Thus, moments after Democrat congresswoman, Gabrielle Giffords and others were gunned down by a madman the left was gleefully placing the blame on their favorite make believe enemies: Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, et al and racing to see who could be the most wrong first. The shooting had to be politically motivated, after all, the target is a Democrat! They just cannot help themselves. No theory was too crazy as long as it implicated the Tea Party. Anyone remotely interested in the truth who also had a computer figured it all out quickly enough. The shooter is crazy. His disjointed ramblings on the internet alone were enough to suggest a thought disorder. Kids who knew Jared Loughner recalled scary and disruptive incidents with him in school. One young woman identified him as a left wing pot head. In reality, his political ideology is, by necessity, incoherent. He hates the Bible, the Constitution and Jews, near as we can tell, which would put him squarely in the liberal camp. But, his thinking is too obviously disordered for the formulation of a lucid political belief system. Perhaps the mainstream media should take a firm stand against harassment by the grammar police about whom Loughner is so concerned? Bad news for the Dems: the kid is just nuts. Most likely schizophrenic. His ramblings suggest paranoid ideation. If the media is still confused about a motive, there it is. He’s nuts. Politics is just not part of this equation in any meaningful way. Not even with Pima County Sheriff Dupnik’s nearly equally insane rantings blaming talk radio for a massacre committed by a psychotic. Quick Draw McGraw would surely prefer to indict Rush Limbaugh than have to face questions as to how is it he failed to protect the community from such a well established troublemaker. If liberals absolutely must look for a scapegoat in this horrific crime, I suggest starting with the ACLU.
