Why shouldn’t the poor also contribute to a better society? Within their means, of course, but they should not be exonerated from the contribution game.

Raise taxes across the board

Obama wants to raise taxes for the rich so that they can share in the sacrifice. Sharing the sacrifice is reasonable if it is productive. However, once the rich sacrifice their funds to the government, the politicians misuse them and spend them indiscriminately. Why contribute to governmental theft? Why sacrifice to carelessly corrupt government institutions?
If Obama really wants to share the sacrifice he should raise the taxes for everyone, including the poor and the middle class. Obviously, not to the extent that he taxes the rich but at least to some degree so that they share in the contribution. Even a poor person should have to contribute a dollar so that he is part of Obama’s imagined beneficence. Give, give, give so that the careless government doesn’t have to steal. This would reduce class warfare and make everyone feel that they are contributing to America. However, Obama would never tax the poor. There are too many of them. He wants all of their votes. The man loves the Presidency like Imelda Marcos loved her shoe collection.

OWS pretend that they are poor and, like Lord Obama, advocate confiscating from the rich. They are fake Robin Hoods. They steal from the rich to give to the poor. However, most of the money doesn’t trickle down to the poor. It is divided up among bureaucrats. The Obamas spend millions of dollars flying around the world on lavish vacations. They are the nouveau riche squandering the resources of the nation. Why shouldn’t the poor also contribute to a better society? Within their means, of course, but they should not be exonerated from the contribution game. Obama encourages the protestors to mug the rich and downgrade the quality of their lives by occupying their neighborhoods. Why should the protestors who have only accomplished failure be allowed to mug the successful? Certainly the Wall Street occupants are entitled to the same rights as the protestors. Muggery should be equal. Perhaps we should impose gradations where the middle class could steal from the upper middle class and the very poor from the moderately poor. Then we could have a structured, variegated class struggle. Marx would be proud of us. Anarchy thy name is protest and Obama. Never before has a president sided with revolution. The self-righteous protestors are little Robespierre’s. They are preparing to bring out their little guillotines. They are weaklings but they are dangerous.
