RBC - Royal Bank of Canada - released their Climate Action 2026 report on Jan. 15, 2026

Michelle Stirling, Communications Manager for Friends of Science Society, sat in on the webinar and in this video she reports that she was 'gobsmacked' by the climate zealotry she witnessed. RBC employees on the panel expressed their view that they wanted climate change ideology to be 'pan-bank' - Stirling found that 'terrifying.' Why? Well, imagine if you want to renew your mortgage but you have a natural gas furnace...could a mortgage renewal (or a mortgage for a new home purchase approval) be predicated on whether you have (or are willing to install) a heat pump???
