Reality is a Hard and Heartless Mistress
Like many outside the mainstream North American media, I am scratching my head and wondering what happened on Tuesday November 8, 2022. Many of us are doing our own post mortem trying to make sense of what we see as the results are so counterintuitive. As I write this, it is estimated the fewer than 50% of eligible American voters voted in the midterm election.
It also seems that nearly 50% of those who did vote are happy with the evil direction the Marxist Democrat Party is leading the country. Do these people really approve of the accelerating levels of crime on the streets of America? Do these people really approve of the accelerating levels of drug use and fatalities on the streets of America? Do these people really approve of the accelerating levels of illegal immigration on America’s southern border? To sum it up, do these people really approve of all the high prices they are paying, the shortage of products, the deviant sexual issues, the poor education of their children, and everything else negatively impacting their lives? If so, they voted against their own best interest and the financial pain they are enduring. This just doesn’t make a lick of sense to me, but at least they voted.
"If you do not take an interest in the affairs of your government, then you are doomed to live under the rule of fools." ~ Plato
The most troubling for me is the fact that the majority of American voters failed to vote. Not voting is just the same as not having the right to vote. This slaps me in the face with the reality that the American voters are too comfortable to be concerned about what their government may or may not do to them. When you put 20 - 25 percent of the voters that voted for tyranny with the 50 percent comfortable with that tyranny, what have you got? I can add 2 plus 2 and know it equals 4. The comfortable enough 75% of American voters are the sheeple that are being lead to slaughter by the Marxist agents of Satan.

Nearly as disturbing are the other 25% of American voters who are much like a herd of cats who can’t seem to find a way to come together and focus on the United States of America’s primary enemy of the state that has had far too much success in the last 122 years. President Trump had almost pulled things together, but too many Sensitive New Age Republican politicians could not seem to man up and focus on the real enemy: Marxism, the Democrat Party, and the ignorance the aforementioned have instilled in too many America citizens. My conclusion is that things are not yet bad enough in the United States of America to motivate the vast majority of Americans into the necessary action to save the republic. The 75% majority are satisfied couch potatoes and screen heads. The couch potatoes are happy watching their sports and brain dead entertainment offered by the Marxist entertainment industry. The screen heads are just as happy engaging with the brain dead entertainment on their devices and creating 30 seconds of internet fame for themselves. In the meantime, their real world is collapsing around their ears. Good luck with that folks; you’re likely to get cold and hungry this winter thanks to the great foresight of Boss Joe Biden and his merry gang of Marxist minions. Like the November 2020 election, much of the 2022 midterm election isn’t passing the smell test. Was it a fair, legal election in every state? I seriously doubt it. Was there machine tampering? I don’t know. Was there other human tampering? I don’t know that either. At this point I don’t care because more than 50% of Americans didn’t care enough to get off their dead asses and vote. In this situation, whether the election was fair or not, just doesn’t make any difference with our apathetic voter pool.

For the rest of us, buckle up! At best, the marginal majority the Republicans have won’t be able to do much to prevent the Biden train wreck that is coming. I’m being optimistic by thinking the Republicans will actually try to take real action. History suggests that the Republicans usually engage in a lot of theater without ever producing much of a product when they have control of the House and/or Senate, even with a Republican President. Do you doubt me? What did they do 2016 to 2018 besides undermine Trump? We have now returned to the days of yesteryear with gun fights in the streets of all Democrat controlled big cities. Criminals all over America are watching this and being emboldened and it will spread first to more Democrat controlled jurisdictions, but ultimately to most cities in America. We have seen in just two short years how fast law abiding American prosperity turned into the lawlessness in our streets today. The rate of decline is not slowing down and the corrupt federal government is more than just complicit, they are aiding and abetting lawlessness in America. How much worse does it have to get before the majority of Americans wake up? Sadly, since the last two years wasn’t enough, I fear it will have to get downright ugly. So ugly, it will be on the borderline of too late. Am I giving up? Not on your life! However, I have accepted reality for what it is. The majority of Americans are still too comfortable and until things deteriorate to a point of discomfort for them, they simply won’t change.

The people invent their oppressors, and the oppressors serve the function for which they are invented." ~ Mark Twain
