It had nothing to do with gun control. Voter suppression...yeah...that's the ticket!

Recalled Colorado Dem Senator blames ‘voter suppression’ for her loss - nobody buys it

On Tuesday, a pair of Colorado state Senators - both instrumental in the state's onerous new gun control laws - were recalled by angry voters. ..But Dems don't need to worry. According to one of them, the recall had nothing to do with their "anti-gun proclivities."

After being initially confused by the election results, she's now realized that it was all about "voter suppression." The now Former Colorado Senator Angela Giron appeared yesterday on CNN where she claimed that she was recalled because... well... someone managed to manipulate voter turnout. ..Or people were confused. Or they didn't know what she was all about. ...Or something. Here she is trying to make an argument that even the anti-2nd Amendment goons at CNN aren't buying: Uh-huh. O.K. We get it. It wasn't Giron's fault that she's one of the first two Senators in the history of Colorado to be removed from office via recall. This has nothing to do with her "rational, common sense" gun control positions. Despite the fact that she spent gobs of cash, someone kept all of her constituents from voting. That's the only reasonable explanation, right? Wrong. According to multiple sources, Democrat voters in her district outnumbered Republicans by a wide margin - and she still failed to hang on to her job. The takeaway here is that even Dems don't like what she's done, and they voted to get rid of her. We've seen this time and time again. Democrats try to spin ANY loss as the result of "suppression," but the truth is voters do not support politicians that mess with their 2nd Amendment rights. End of story. Nationally, Democrats could learn a lesson from this. Will they? Probably not.
