House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) announced Tuesday that he had been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer.

Scalise, 57, posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that he had gotten blood work done after “a few days of not feeling like myself this past week” and undergone additional tests after “some irregularities were found.” ---More...
