Requiem or Revival for the Trump Revolution?

Requiem or Revival for the Trump Revolution? Now that it is official that the installation of the next chief executive of this nation has transpired in real time, the prophets may cease for a while in their boisterous clamor and proclamation about our former president or America’s glory days. Disappointment and disillusion may spread like the “Dark Winter” predicted by the one who has now occupied the White House. Yet, a reality check is in order. When someone steals a car, are they legally the owner of the car? When someone steals a person’s home, are they recognized as the legitimate owners of the home? That only happens when people are confused or don’t really care about ownership. Theft is theft. What happened at the installation, however, was the accepted legal precedent of the theft of a national election. Once the legal precedent has been established, it is hard to challenge. What has been substantially revealed in these past few weeks is that there has honestly been no difference between the two dominant political parties for likely quite some time. Additionally, the government is run by those who are able to muster a combination of money and political machinery. The more the better, most of the time. It may be clear to political animals that this is so, but for average Americans only remotely aware of the machinations of power, it can be quite disappointing. Many of those can be considered Donald Trump supporters. Their foray into the political arena represented the hope that “We the People” still mattered, and might still be sovereign.

President Trump was assasinated politically

One basic premise of Donald Trump’s effort to “Make America Great Again” was to embolden the people to take their country back. Trump ran for the position of president for the American people to return the nation to the people, to help them regain their rightful sovereignty - a sovereignty that many people in this time have forgotten. Trump reminded them that was their country, not elitist leaders with suitcases full of money -- or ballots -- or both. Yet in the end, corruption, fraud, lots of money and the manipulation of vote tallies have smashed the people’s hope in a contemporary makeover of America under the intended sovereigns--“We the People.” The elitists did not care, and they have the money to ensure no one with power cares. President Trump was assasinated politically and one only has to witness the revenge and vindictiveness of the political elites being brought against Trump because he had the audacity to crash into their previously unblemished domain. But not only that, Trump led all of the deplorables into their political domain as well. The obvious secular parallel is all of the knives that were plunged into Julius Caesar on the Ides of March. Of course, that was the end of the Roman Republic and the beginnings of the Roman Empire. Did the Founders know of this potential problem? Absolutely--and it was one of the reasons they understood the potential perils of a republic and viewed the American Republic as a great experiment. Ben Franklin prophesied the collapse of the government when he said it “can only end in despotism as other forms have done before it, when the people shall become so corrupted as to need despotic Government, being incapable of any other.” We have now arrived at that day. Yet, not all of the people today are incapable of a well-administered Constitutional Republic. While there millions of loyal Trump supporters who may have been incredibly saddened and disappointed in these past few days of the winding down of Trump’s Administration, it need not turn into a requiem for the Trump Revolution. Much of what President Trump was able to accomplish, against all odds in the face of incredible opposition, should be able to last beyond his Administration. Especially, for patriots and people of faith to have been awakened and to have tasted just a cup of what our nation could be has been an education and a blessing.

The standards have been raised

The standards have been raised, and the bar for expectations from political leadership has been raised. Will Americans now go back to expecting so much less? There is a real danger in that those who have been awakened, enlightened, or inspired during this time will hold on to disappointment going forward. It is abundantly clear that President Trump saw the need of the nation in serious light and took the proverbial “bull by the horns” and demonstrated how the government under a strong, determined leader could accomplish definitive, remarkable results in a short period of time. Donald Trump inspired us to anticipate, to expect, to work toward that which was much better, rather than accept what we are told we have to ‘settle’ for. As he said in his farewell speech the other day, “we did what we came here to do, and so much more” as well as “the best is yet to come.” With such success demonstrated in such a limited period of time, under such rigorous and extensive opposition, it inspires one to consider what he could have done with greater support. So, disappointment in the loss of such a leader should not be the end of this particular experiment, but the thorn in one’s side to strive for something better--something greater as President Trump so inspired those who believed in him. Awakened, not “woke” useful idiots, true Americans still believing in the Judeo-Christian values embedded within the nation’s founding documents, must absolutely advance Trump’s Revolution. Americans, who honestly still believe in the ideals of the Declaration of Independence, the founding principles of the Constitution, and the values within the Judeo-Christian heritage at the heart of America, must bind together with one another-- individuals and organizations for there is strength in numbers.

Citizens no longer should wait for the government under political Elitists, Leftists, or Progressives to act on behalf of the people

There needs to be a gravitation toward the fundamental beliefs at the heart of the nation if the Republic is to be revived, if Americans expect to return this nation to a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.” Citizens no longer should wait for the government under political Elitists, Leftists, or Progressives to act on behalf of the people. Citizens can no longer relinquish their own sovereignty and allow government elitists to trample our God-given rights. Conservative, Christian, and patriot organizations embracing the Judeo-Christian values, the ideals of the Declaration of Independence and those principles of a Free Republic as expressed in the Constitution especially those in the Bill of Rights need to unite across the nation. Church leaders who are fighting lockdowns, restaurant owners and entrepreneurs who are fighting the shutdowns, medical professionals who understand the COVID lies and are willing to speak up and speak out, those who are legitimately concerned about the vaccines, and all of those who are having their free speech threatened or stifled by Big Tech need to form alliances and coalitions all across the nation in order to fight elitists who are attempting to consolidate their power at the national level. This is the sacred duty of all true Americans who want to save the Republic.
