Campaigning off of debunked conspiracy theories

To this day, Al Gore remains one of the history's least interesting political figures. Best known for pimping climate paranoia and inducing boredom at every turn, Gore wields tedium like Leonidas wields a spear. You may think you can stand up to it, but it almost always wins in the end. ...And yet, he's out there campaigning for Hillary - probably the only candidate who's phony, focus-tested, speeches are even less inspiring.
For whatever reason, there is a contingent of liberals who still cling to Gore as some kind hero. They ache for a chance to re-litigate an election that Gore clearly lost because, *ahem*, even after 16 years they refuse to "accept the results."
