Good morning, and welcome back to Ridin’ Out the Recession In Miz Judi’s Kitchen! Thanks to all of you for coming back to see us, you guys are great! Let’s take a minute this morning to thank two great people as well…Judi and Brian with the Canada Free Press. Those two are absolutely good people, and honestly, without them, as well as their help, there probably wouldn’t be a Ridin’ Out the Recession, Coverin’ the Bases, much less Dub and Deb’s! Thanks guys!!

You guys probably already know that I’m a technological DINOSAUR, and if that’s not an understatement, then I don’t guess there’s ever been one! I know for a fact I just aggravate the fire outta’ Brian, but what a good sport that guy is, 99.9% of the time. I wonder at times if Brian has EVER been mad at anyone in his life…before me? I’ll call and ask him question after question, and heck, he may have to repeat his answer three or four times trying, though I think the more appropriate term is probably praying, I’ll finally get it! He is genuinely a good sport! When my computer crashed, have you guys heard about that ordeal? Hang on just a second…Debbie I cain’t hear you, speak up…OH, uh huh…okay, sure… ah, according to Deb you guys have heard about my computer crashing. Boy, wonder what’s wrong with her this morning? Anyway, without telling you the details of my computer crash, I did call Brian with some questions, okay, it was actually a lot of questions. What kind do you use, and you say they COST HOW MUCH…are you kidding me? Tell me you’re kidding, right? The whole time Brian was just as nice and polite, but if you know Brian, you know what I’m talking about. I couldn’t be that nice for a whole day if ya’ held a gun to my head, I just couldn’t! I like to pick at people tooooo much! But Brian was hanging in there, “Yes Dub, I believe that will work, no, no I don’t think you’ll need that, well, it’s your decision, but I think I’d go this route.” Brian and I were still going back and forth, and I could just tell he was steady sitting there answering all these questions I kept throwing at him, with a big ole’ smile on his face…until about the 4th., or 5th hour. Finally Brian stops me and asks, “Dub, do you mind if I ask you a question?” I immediately said, of course not Brian, I probably don’t have 5 or 6 more things to ask you, and then you just ask away! He says, “No Dub, I’d just like to ask this one. Can you please tell me if you’re an educated man?” I immediately told him the extent of my education. He then asked very politely if I minded “holding” just a minute or two, and I of course said no problem. He placed his hand over the phone and hollered JUDI! Actually SCREAMED might be a better choice of words. I heard Judi mumbling something, remember his hand was over the phone. Then I heard Brian holler once more, “Why didn’t you tell me this guy was an idiot?” Now I’m not positive, but I think I was hearing Judi laughing uncontrollable saying something like... I love it! Brian got back on the phone and asked if I could call him back a little later, as he was getting really busy. No problem buddy, I said. Well since that day, I’ve tried to call probably 3 to 4 times, but I keep getting a wrong number. At first I thought I’d simply dialed it wrong, but the last few times I’ve been very careful when dialing, making sure I’m putting the numbers in right. Same thing…wrong number, or at least that’s what they keep saying! The last time I tried to call, the message I got was, “No, this is not the office for the CFP, how many times do we have to tell you this DUB… sorry, we mean Sir!” Is that you Brian? Honestly, Judi and Brian are really, really great people, and I’ve been just picking at Brian this morning. I don’t know how we could have possibly created Ridin’ Out the Recession without them, and in fact it couldn’t have been done without their help. Thanks so much guys, we love you both! To all our other readers, you guys are simply…the best!! We literally can’t express our heartfelt emotions we feel towards each and every one of you, except by possibly stating…we love you guys too! So God Bless you all, and please come again! Dub and Deb

Dub and Deb——

‘Ridin Out The Recession With Dub and Deb in “Miz Judi’s Kitchen’!

Note to Readers: There are a few things that Dub doesn’t know but one thing he does know is that the word ‘Riding’ (as in Riding Out the Recession) is spelled with a ‘g’ at the end.  But Dub not only walks the walk, but speaks like he is: down home, true blue, and plain speakin’ country folk.

Dub and Deb are both native Floridians, live in Central Florida, and run a small business as well. They have five children, and seven grandchildren.

Both love to cook, love to laugh, grow a garden, and generally try to “aggravate” most anyone around them basically…all in good fun, of course!
