New York once had a controversial, but highly popular, mayor named Jimmy Walker whom the media called Beau James.

Walker was driven from office for accepting bribes, and for his affairs with chorus girls. He is is remembered today for legalizing boxing, allowing theatres to open on Sundays and for the best selling song he composed: "Will you love me in December as You do in May." Bob Hope played Walker in the hit movie Beau James. Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is every bit as controversial, and popular, as was Walker, and his trials and tribulations are currently being covered by the global media. I believe Ford's bio could be turned into a hit movie. William Bedford
