Rubin backhands Israelis

As soon as Trudy Rubin (journalist, blogger, Washington Post) wrote "Pro-Settlement attacks by Israeli militants endanger any hope of peace," she left the realm of logic and turned truth on its head. She embraced the doctrine of taqiyyah (lies), calling the victims "aggressors." Now, not only must the victim defend himself against the violent aggression, but against the propagandist slander as well.
Rubin automatically blamed Israelis for the attacks without providing a motive for provocation, and called the Palestinians and their sympathizers a "peace group." She identifies her source of information as sympathizer Hagit Ofran, a member of Peace Now (PN), a group whose Palestinian propagandist terminology identifies Israelis as "settlers" and "occupiers" in their own land, Judea and Samaria. She blames the lack of peace on housing, without acknowledging the centuries of wars (Arab vs Jew when there were no housing issues. Peace Now is one of many organizations funded by the anti-Semitic George Soros, that alleges to be pro-Israel, professing a deep concern for Israeli security, but rejects the security needs expressed by the Israeli government. PN supports a two-state solution that leaves Israel with non-defensible borders. They ignore the many times that Israelis have relinquished their land and homes to Palestinians, only to witness the often irreversible destruction to those homes and thriving businesses, and the establishment of a new launching pad for Hamas's deadly missiles and rockets. And what was the behavior of the activists? Were they sitting in a square as Mahatma Gandhi would have done? Did they march quietly with banners asking for peace?Might they have screamed at the Israeli residents and taunted them with threats or weapons? The Israelis have been offering peaceful negotiations to establish a Palestinian state and Mahmoud Abbas has refused, declaring there will never be peace between Palestinians and Israelis, and that any future Palestinian state would bar Jews and homosexuals' entry. And shouldn't we have expected sincere peace activists and Palestinians to march with banners in front of Abbas's headquarters, and demand that the two sides negotiate peacefully for peace?

But are the Palestinians indeed interested in peace, if they didn't make their interests known to Abbas who represents them? Since the year 2000, the nature of the Palestinians has changed dramatically from a secular to a religious Islamic people, producing 170 suicide bombers who blew themselves up in Israel, with 700 apprehended before they had the opportunity--for the sake of their deity, their family, and the rewards that await them in Paradise. They have become a culture that thrives on hate and continues to produce more terrorists with every succeeding generation. The society encourages suicide bombing, and uses young children to trigger booby-traps or sit with terrorists and munitions in mosque-turned-terrorist headquarters. The children are raised to eagerly await their time of death, where the deed is praised and legitimized as martyrdom, where streets and plazas are named for these shahids (martyrs), where their parents are presented with new apartments and financial reward, and the townspeople celebrate with the distribution of sweets cakes and candies. While around the world, children are their parents' precious gifts and keys to their future, the Palestinians have become a society that consciously and purposely sacrifices its own youth for political and tactical advantage. Having nurtured a blind hatred of Israel, the overwhelming majority of Palestinian Arabs created a culture of vengeance, violence, and death, preparing their children to be sacrifices in a death cult. Civilian (not military) Palestinian Arabs have killed nine times more Israeli civilians than the reverse. The pro-Palestinian B'Tselem reported that during the past 11 years, of the 46 Arabs killed by Jewish civilians in the West Bank, 23 were cases of self-defense against armed Palestinians, and 23 killed by Jewish settlers (circumstances unconfirmed), while 215 Jewish civilians were murdered by Arabs in the West Bank. Surely, no Jewish activists ever raised their children for martyrdom or entered a home and cut the throats of a family, including a newborn, the way the Palestinians murdered the Fogel family. Ofran drove Rubin around the West Bank, identifying Israeli housing and "special highways built for settlers but off-limits to Palestinians," another sample of unethical reporting. Why would Israel, a country that is home to people of all religions and races, consider a highway off limits to just the Palestinians? The explanation is sound: Once the Oslo Accords were established, the Palestinian authority assumed control of various cities. From the signing of the Oslo Accords between Israel and the PLO in September, 1993 until September, 2000, close to 400 Israelis were killed in terrorist attacks. Therefore, Israel established checkpoints where the road entered Palestinian jurisdiction, so that Israeli traffic could bypass those towns, keep the travelers safe, and allow traffic to flow smoothly around, rather than through, the congested urban areas. Furthermore, Route 60 was a central scene of violence during the al-Aqsa Intifada, where there were thousands of shooting attacks on Israeli drivers and hundreds of casualties. As a result, sections of the highway were fortified with anti-sniper concrete walls and checkpoints, and a light-weight, bulletproof, armor barrier was employed on a bridge. Highway 443 is another hazardous corridor where Israeli drivers have been shot and killed. These roads must be made safe for all Israel's citizens. Ofran is dedicated to the evacuation of Jewish settlements, and reports them to the Supreme Court, demanding evacuation when the construction is illegal. When the motion is accepted, settlements are dismantled and inhabitants evacuated by security forces. The journalist should have reported the complete truth about the attacks, not protect the Palestinians from exposure. Muslims have been waging war against non-Muslims throughout their history, and continue to wage war against five religions that are not at war with each other, in 38 countries worldwide. Their activities against Jews,Christians, and even their own must not be concealed, as these are the deeds we will face if we don't stop them now. The more we protect the Islamists, the more beholden to them we will be. They are in America; they are in our White House, and they are in our Homeland Security, and school books have been changed along with the laws of our land while we sleep. The media's neglect, bathing us in ignorance, is a serious injustice to all of us--our family, our friends, and our fellow-Americans.
