Second-largest wildfire in Texas history consumes 500,000 acres with no containment
The largest fire burning is the Smokehouse Creek Fire north of Stinnett. On Wednesday, the fire exploded in size, growing from 300,000 acres to 500,000, making it the second-largest wildfire in Texas history.
