Secretly, progressives LOVE the Hillary email scandal - because they don't want her to run

Throughout the Obama administration, there's been one constant. When scandals erupt, they are buried by the mainstream media. Whether it's Benghazi, Fast & Furious, the implosion of ObamaCare, unilateral proclamations, or the IRS targeting of conservatives, they've been desperate to bury the story as quickly as possible. Now, however, something is different.

Left-leaning organizations, pundits, and politicians are all talking about Hillary's secret emails, and there's little effort being made to bury the story. For example: So, why is this happening? What's changed? Here's a theory: the far left doesn't like Hillary as a candidate. They're not comfortable with her presidential bid, and they have other prospects that they'd prefer to see take her place. As a result, they have no problem discussing something that could torpedo her run. Think about it: These are the people who are uncomfortable with the Clinton's "level of wealth." They've even spent some time wondering if Hillary's the liberal Mitt Romney - a woman who's got a ton of cash, can't quite seem to decide what she believes, and forfeits the liberal "us vs. them" shtick. These are the people who worry that Hillary may be too comfortable with her Wall Street pals. These are the people who think she's had a career that has resulted in her "leaving her base" behind. These are also the people who worry - rightfully so - about whether or not a "Clinton" on the ballot smacks of looking backward. Just as Conservatives don't want to see another Bush run, many Dems feel that Hillary is a throwback candidate; a relic of another time. ....And of course, these are the people who've been engaged in a year-long "Run Warren Run" campaign designed to drag Elizabeth Warren into the race. Fauxcahontas is, obviously, the preferred far-left female alternative to the erroneously-labeled "centrist" Clinton dynasty, but there are other emerging options as well. Just look at how they've been flocking to Martin O'Malley's side as he prepares his run. So, maybe it's time to stop looking at the Clinton email fiasco as a scandal, and more of a "convenient off-ramp" for liberals who've been forced to acknowledge the growing weaknesses of their "inevitable" nominee.
