Senate Armed Services Committee member Tom Cotton, R-Ark., praised President Trump's swift action that killed Iran Gen. Qassem Soleimani, telling Mark Levin that the viewpoint of a soldier in the Middle East is different than that of a lawmaker working stateside.
Cotton, a veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, said in an interview airing Sunday on "Life, Liberty & Levin" that he has seen intelligence that showed Soleimani, 62, was plotting "something large [and] something very dangerous" in the near future.
"There is no doubt," he said, suggesting that the severity of the situation trumped whether the predicted attack or attacks happened in a matter of days as opposed to weeks or months.--
