Because of the ephemeral — and perhaps entirely imaginary — risk of voting while this pandemic rages… …several states have decided to mail ballots to their entire list of registered voters rather than use the tried and true method of absentee ballots.. (No, Chris Cillizza, mail-in ballots, and absentee ballots are not the same thing, and no matter how many times you say it, the facts will not change.)
