Should President Joe Biden be Brought Up on Charges of “Dereliction of Duties”?

Let's first define what “Dereliction of Duty” is: “It is the shameful failure to fulfill one's obligation”. Using that definition, how can so-called leaders of a nation (in this case the United States of America), go before the public and proclaim that our southern border is secure when on T.V. you see over 12,000 illegal migrants crossing over our border in a 24 hour period? Could or should those leaders be brought up on charges of not doing their job, a case of “dereliction of duties”?

It has been reported that just in the past month alone, more than 2 football stadiums with a capacity of over 100,000 seats, would be filled by the hordes of illegal migrants crossing our border. That is a disgrace and a national security problem as some migrants are coming from countries that we do not get along with, in fact, many are outright hostile to our country, and we are letting them in, unvetted, against existing law. So if our leaders are letting these unauthorized people into our country and they have the authority to stop the flow, isn't that an act of “dereliction of duty”?

A country without borders really isn't a country anymore, it is just a way station for anybody from another country to come into our country to enjoy the fruits of our liberty that we are supposed to offer legitimate citizens of our country, but they seem to reap the benefits and the largess over and above what our citizens are entitled to. To permit this situation to metastasize like they have, to me, meets the definition of “dereliction of duty”.

As part of the Democrats campaign strategy for 2024, they are using personal vilification of members of the opposite party (especially using the term Hitler and Fascist) instead of championing the policies they have put in place when they took control.

The latest polling by reputable research firms seems to suggest that the American people are not buying what the Biden Administration is trying to tout as a success story.

Instead of keeping the policies of his predecessor, Donald Trump, that were mainly working for the benefit of the United States, Biden, by pique and animus, canceled most of those policies which has resulted in the problems our country faces today. You could say that by doing away with workable policies of border control, energy exploration, crime prevention, a strong and forceful foreign policy, and executive orders that do not meet the smell test, Biden has actually been guilty of “dereliction of duty”.

The 81-year-old Biden says he is determined to run for reelection regardless what the polls say today. Even prominent members of his own party are dropping hints that the Democrats should be looking for an alternative candidate otherwise they feel they might lose the election with Biden heading the ticket.

So with Biden's policies going over like a lead balloon in the minds of the electorate, you'd think that Biden would put aside his ego and realize that it would be a “dereliction of duty” by him to continue on his quest for a second term. It'll be interesting to see what will happen in the future and to see if common sense will prevail.
