Irony: Hillary Is too Dishonest; Trump is too Honest

Snopes, Politifact, & Other Fact Checkers are Liberal Mouthpieces

The "fact checkers" claim that Trump lied and continues to lie significantly more than Hillary did and does. The flaws in their bogus "statistics" are that more of Hillary's lies are intentional and significant, whereas more of Trump's "lies" are actually exaggerations or witticisms taken out of context, and misrepresentations by the media and other Hillary supporters (not by Trump) when intentionally misquoting or distorting what Trump has actually said. The most often cited fact checkers are not in fact objective, as, for example, Snopes and Politico.

Snopes

As cited by Rolf Yungclas (Canada Free Press, October 3, 2016), back in June, The Daily Caller pointed out the left-wing bias of Snopes: "Snopes' 'fact-checking' looks more like playing defense for prominent Democrats like Hillary Clinton." In an article entitled "Fact-Checking Snopes: Website's Political 'Fact-Checker' Is Just A Failed Liberal Blogger," the article had this to say about one of Snopes' writers, Kim Lacapria: "Before writing for Snopes, Lacapria wrote for Inquisitr, a blog that--oddly enough--is known for publishing fake quotes and even downright hoaxes as much as anything else... While at Inquisitr, the future 'fact-checker' consistently displayed clear partisanship."

Politifact

Politifact is actually nothing more than a thinly disguised leftist organization, supported by mainstream publications, which are generally "in the tank" for the Democrats, as well as such ultra-liberals as the founders of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Hillary's Lies vs. Trump's alleged Lies

Hillary's Lies Hillary did not suddenly lie about her lapses in our national security with her illegal, inadequate, and easily hackable server and emails. Hillary is consistent with a long line of lies, including those relating to Whitewater, Vince Foster, threats to Bill's former mistresses to keep them quiet, stealing White House furniture, silverware, and china when she and Bill left the house they had called their home, the Arab Spring, springing Mubarak who had been relatively loyal to America; arming the anti-American Muslim Brotherhood and installing their members and sympathizers in the White House and State Department, destabilizing Syria, failing to support the independent opposition in Syria and Iran when they were really independent and with values closer to those of Americans than the values of most of the fighters on all sides of the current conflict in the region, destabilizing Libya, Benghazi, reviving Iran with the worst deal in history, thereby propping up the worst country and supporter of and exporter of terrorism, the IRS mistreating conservatives, the DOJ spying on the press, the Clinton Foundation and the bogus claim of 90% of the donations being used for charitable purposes, hiding the huge salaries of the Clinton Foundation staffers paid to cronies and the use of private jets on Foundation "business," Laureate University, which may trump Trump University for alleged improprieties (for which Bill was paid $16.5 million dollars for an honorary role), drones in the military without proper authority; the HHS Secretary Sibelius shaking down health insurance executives, giving her cronies in Solyndra $500 million dollars three months before it declared bankruptcy and then was bought by the Chinese; the NSA monitoring citizens; the State Department interfering with an Inspector General Investigation on departmental sexual misconduct, interfering with the FBI's ongoing investigations, the secret coincidental meeting Bill Clinton had with Attorney General Loretta Lynch that happened to take place just before the FBI, under Lynch's jurisdiction, cleared Hillary of wrongdoing even while conceding that what she had done was wrong, and, in general, befriending our country's enemies and demonizing our country's friends. Trump's Alleged "Lies" By contrast, Trump's "Lies" are actually the media's lies, and Hillary's lies, misrepresenting what Trump has said and has not said.
  • Trump often exaggerates. Virtually every exaggeration is deemed by the fact checkers to be a lie.
  • Trump is very witty. Virtually every witticism or clever line is deemed by the fact checkers to be a lie.
  • Trump observed, for example, that Obama and Hillary created Isis, a statement that was listed by the fact-checkers as inaccurate when it was obviously not meant literally; Trump obviously meant that Obama and Hillary allowed for the creation of a vacuum in Iraq that Isis filled.
  • Trump was suddenly accused of being a racist, a misogynist, and a bigot, only when he began to run for president; in all his decades as a high profile personality, he was never associated with such allegations.
  • Trump is accused of being a racist when he has said nothing racist, but has merely defended law and order, and police (including African-American police officers) protecting the country from criminals who happen to sometimes be African-Americans. But the press and Hillary make all sorts of lies in support of Black Lives Matter, rather than all lives, when far more blacks are murdered by other blacks than by white police officers with no provocation; the demonization of the police actually causes the police to be afraid of intervening to help save black lives because police officers now realize that they can be falsely accused of being against the communities they are trying to protect.

  • Trump is accused of being a racist because he asked to see Obama's birth certificate even though Hillary's people raised the "birther" issue before Trump did, and probably gave Trump the idea. Obama withheld his birth certificate for many months, implying guilt, when he could have easily disclosed it immediately, not to mention the fact that its validity continues to be questioned by people other than Trump since it referred to the term "African-American," for example, long before that term was actually in use.
  • It turns out, Trump was onto a fraud, but simply didn't focus on the real fraud, which was that Obama got his scholarship to college by falsely claiming to be a foreign exchange student from Kenya or Indonesia, so ironically it was Obama himself who claimed to have been from Kenya or Indonesia, but this claim of Obama was false, so Obama's legitimacy was indeed based on a fraud.
  • Trump is accused of being anti-Muslim when he simply originally said he wanted to temporarily keep them out until the vetting process would improve so that all Americans including all Muslims in America would be protected, and he then refined his position to temporarily suspend the immigration of only people from terrorist countries.
  • Trump is accused of insulting the Khan soldier when he never did but only indirectly mentioned that the soldier's mother didn't speak at the convention, which if anything was an implicit criticism of the fact that Islam places women into the background, while Trump is actually progressive when it comes to women, as noted below.
  • Trump is accused of being anti-women to a great extent because perhaps he loves them too much; he grew up at a time when women felt flattered, not offended, when complimented and showered with affection by handsome celebrities. When it comes to the issues that really matter to women, Trump gives them good jobs, top jobs, and good benefits.
  • Trump is accused of being against disabled people because on one occasion he allegedly mimicked such a person; in fact, as disclosed by Catholics4Trump, and by the respected brilliant commentator Dennis Prager, and by others, the hand movements that Trump made at that time were the same movements he had made when insulting (a) a general, (b) Senator Cruz, and (c) even himself in a self-deprecating way; the disabled person, it turned out, wasn't even capable of making the hand movements that Trump made when purportedly mimicking him.
  • Trump is accused of saying that McCain is not a hero when in fact his point was obviously that the act of being captured is not as impressive as the act of putting one's life in danger for one's country, so that McCain was simply a hero for putting his life on the line, and for his performance while in captivity, rather than for being captured, and in the same discussion in which Trump made the statement allegedly critical of McCain, Trump added that of course McCain is a hero.
The irony is that Hillary's problem is that she is too dishonest, and Trump's problem is that he is too honest. See also this writer's earlier piece in Canada Free Press, "Trump Analysis--Fact Check the Fact Checkers" (October 24, 2016).
