Soros-funded organization wants prisoners released due to coronavirus

A Soros-funded organization in the US is petitioning the governors of all 50 states to release inmates from state prisons as a coronavirus “social distancing” measure. The letter came from the Brennan Center for Justice, and has been published online. The Brennan Center is urging governors to use their power to issue executive orders to “release as many people as possible from incarceration.” The justification offered is that prisons tend to be cramped, thus making it difficult for prisoners to follow social distancing guidelines.
