MISSISSAUGA, ON, - Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) is pleased to announce that the 5-door 2012 Subaru Impreza has earned top honours in the first annual Vincentric Best Fleet Value in Canada awards.
To determine the 2012 Vincentric Best Fleet Value in Canada awards, Vincentric analyzed over 1,700 vehicle configurations in 24 different lifecycle cost scenarios, using eight cost factors including depreciation, fees and taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost and repairs. The lifecycle costs were measured in all ten provinces, with the resulting 3,000,000 plus lifecycle cost measurements then reviewed to determine the winning vehicles. "The Subaru Impreza earned our award in the Wagon segment by showing the lowest lifecycle costs in 21 out of 24 lifecycle scenarios measured, proving to be a strong performer whether annual driving distance was high or low," stated David Wurster, President of Vincentric. "Our results showed that the key factor in the 5-door Impreza's strong value was its low depreciation costs."

"We are pleased that our award-winning Subaru Impreza has earned yet another accolade," said Shiro Ohta, president and CEO of Subaru Canada. "The Subaru Impreza offers much more than what's expected in a compact car and this achievement further strengthens the confidence Canadians have in the value of our brand." By analyzing the total cost of ownership of fleet vehicles in Canada, fleet organizations can better evaluate Canadian-specific lifestyle costs in order to make informed vehicle selections.
