Urgent Call to Action: Stand for Freedom and Demand Justice for Pastor Artur Pawlowski

Support Pastor Artur's Fight

Calgary, Alberta--In a critical moment that threatens the very essence of freedom and justice, a resounding call to action reverberates across the nation. All persons who believe in the principles of liberty and freedom, especially of religion regardless of faith, are urged to unite their voices and demand justice for Pastor Artur Pawlowski. The recent guilty verdict against Pastor Pawlowski poses a grave threat to the fundamental rights of freedom of expression and freedom of religion, necessitating immediate action to overturn his sentence.

Senator Josh Hawley of the United States Senate has been a champion for religious freedom and has previously called on the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom to consider adding Canada to its watch list in response to the country's crackdown on religious freedom. Drawing upon Senator Hawley's concerns, we implore him to revisit his call to action and amplify his efforts on behalf of Pastor Artur Pawlowski.

We must address the egregious abuse of justice against Pastor Artur Pawlowski

Pastor Artur Pawlowski, known for his steadfast commitment to his faith and community, has become a symbol of resilience and unwavering dedication to the principles of liberty. However, his recent conviction has sent shockwaves through Canadian society and beyond, raising concerns about the erosion of our most cherished values.

It has come to our attention that Pastor Pawlowski has been subjected to unprecedented attacks and infringements on his unalienable Constitutional and Charter of Rights and Freedoms, as a result of the COVID-19 fraudulent Provincial Emergency Orders. His imminent sentencing on August 9th, which could result in imprisonment for up to ten years, is deeply troubling. It is crucial to highlight that his alleged crime is preaching the gospel, a fundamental act of religious expression.

We must address the egregious abuse of justice against Pastor Artur Pawlowski, who has been unlawfully harassed, threatened, detained, imprisoned, held in solitary confinement, tortured, and falsely accused. This conviction for crimes he did not commit, including inciting mischief and eco-terrorism, stands in direct violation of the Canadian Criminal Code, S 176 (1)(2)(3). This law provides legal protection to clergymen who are performing their religious duties, making the arrest of clergy an indictable offense liable to imprisonment for up to two years.

It is of utmost importance to recognize that even if the Federal Government had invoked the Federal Emergencies Act for COVID-19, which it has not, the act itself clearly states that citizens' rights are fully protected. The Governor in Council, when taking special temporary measures, would be bound by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the Canadian Bill of Rights, and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. These legal frameworks safeguard fundamental rights that must not be limited or abridged, even in a national emergency.

Defending religious freedom and upholding human rights

Moreover, concerning revelations have emerged regarding the politicization of the government and judiciary. Premier Smith has acknowledged that the actions taken over the past 42 months were politically motivated. There have been instances of collusion between politicians and judges, secret orders being passed, and the use of police as hired hands. While the public was expected to comply with unlawful orders, the level of corruption displayed is truly alarming and has not gone unnoticed.

In light of these troubling circumstances, we respectfully urge Senator Josh Hawley to revisit his call to action and amplify his efforts on behalf of Pastor Artur Pawlowski. We implore him to continue his unwavering commitment to defending religious freedom and upholding human rights by using his position as a member of the United States Senate to raise awareness about Pastor Pawlowski's case and advocate for justice.

We anticipate Senator Hawley's swift attention to this matter, recognizing the urgent need to rectify this injustice and safeguard the principles upon which our nations are built.
